Streak in hair?

i'm asian and my hair is currently black (naturally) with browny blonde slices (it pretty much looks like streaks) but everyone seems to have it these days. i want to dye my hair a dark brown colour (completely) and i was wondering if it would look any good if i had a black streak in it.. sort of like how some people dye their hair completely black and have one streak of some colour (eg: hot pink) .. would it look any good .. a single black streak on brown hair?

Sounds kind of funny--might look like a bad dye job (like you missed a spot). I'd go dark brown all over, then add a streak of a real color (red, blue, blond...).

yea it looks really cool. i have a friend that has it and shes the only person ive seen it on and it looks amazing. I prefer it to the black hair with brown streaks becuase SO many people have them. and the black streak really frames the face and helps it look less like you have black roots.

id say go for it! you have no reason not to, if you dont like it you can dye it back to black easily!

as a hip hop dancer, i've done a lot of things to my hair and have seen a lot of dying and bleaching and coloring in the circuit, and seeing it in my head, i honestly don't think it's a "do." but...if you don't like it, you can always redye it.
