Today, a boy touched my hair and said that my hair feels like a weave!! I'm Asian but my hair gets tangled up and nasty even though I've been using an expensive Aveda shampoo. I blow dry my hair and straighten it 2, 3 times a week. What can I do to make my hair better?

omega 3. take supplements or increase natural sources in your diet. it creates natural oils which are probably lacking in your hair, acting as a natural conditioner. Youll notice in about 3 months, its not a magical overnight cure. I dont like Aveda products, at all. Im a stylist and advise all my clients away from their gimmicks unless they are allergic to the other brands. the only thing aveda has going for them is the natural aspect of it. they get so wrapped up in it they forget about product performance, which is generally lacking. try rich moisture from back to basics or ultra hydrating balm from biolage. MUCH more effective for dry unruly hair. stick to smoothing products. and you could probably use a less expensive shampoo, just splurge on the conditioners, they are priceless for difficult hair. the 2 i mentioned are FABULOUS for rehydrating and smoothing dry tangly hair.
