Shampoo before hair colouring?

I dyed my naturally brown black hair black and bleached the bangs blonde. And to get the yellowish brown to be correct shade of blonde i violet toned it with another blonde toner. Now it's not orange or yellow or anything but to my dismay still medium blonde*....

So im going to colour it with Revlon's Custom Effects highlighting kit (haha i know right) and i know that it says here i cant shampoo immediately before colouring....

BUT does it really matter?! can i rinse it with plain water to get the hairspray, etc out and start colouring?

*note: My hair is 100% Asian (aka super thick and resistant). I always have to follow instructions for resistant gray hair when bleaching/colouring my hair

thank you

The natural oils your hair develops will grab that color and help deposit it into the medulla and cortex of each hair strand. It is good 2 go 1 or 2 days without washing prior to your color application. Try not to use any products for those 1 or 2 days.

Box colors and bleaches are very damaging, you should always try if possible to get proffesional haircare.
