Should i thin out my hair?

hey i'm an asian guy with straight black hair. My hair is like neck length right now. I'm growing out my hair. I'm not trying to shorten it, i just want to thin it out, because i think it has too much volume, and it feels like there is soo much hair. since it's neither layered nor thined it's just straight strips of hair going downwards. Looks like a mop or a broom to me from behind. what should i do? By the way the girl in the picture is my girlfriend.

no-----------enjoy it while you've got it.........age will thin it out for you soon enough.

Should i thin out my hair?

same with me, i had mine thinned...only to look like a Q Tip when it started to grow back...no such thing as too much volume....that makes it look like you did time to do your hair....trust me ....leave it a lone....

If you think your hair looks like a broom, and has too much volume, it probably does. There may be a conditioner that will not make volume more, I don't know. I have lots of hair, volume too. I don't use conditioners at all. I just get it cut frequently, including thinning or more properly called shaping. Don't try to do it yourself.
