Possible to get this type of hair with this ?

I've always liked Josh Harnett's hair, since I watched him. Over the past years I haven't even noticed my hair, but right now I'm much more interested in my hair; each and every time I was so plain, just asking for a buzz cut because I didn't bother looking through for the styles.

What kind of hair is that? I can only find him with that hair, but I want a similar cut to his. I notice it's realyyy long and it looks slightly gel'd. Mine's won't be exactly the same (since i'm asian and my hair is completely black, right now my hair is growing from a buzz cut, but my hair grows really fast) but I want to know if its possible to get the style of hair that Harnett has, and if it requires a lot of care.

i thonk that you can do this easy by making it a little shorter as you said maybe like this., also dont think its hard to maintain.
