Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

Unlike other Asian girls blessed with great hair, mine is dry, frizzy and dull. (I have thick hair by the way) I tried a lot of products and none of them seem to work. Any tips/suggestions, please?

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

As far as products go, Sabino Moisture block is EXCELLENT!!! (Look at any customer review, they'll tell you the same.) This stuff is a serum you work into your hair after you shampoo, and you can use it to keep curls from frizzing, straighten with a blow drier or flat iron, etc....

....But here's the thing that separates this from all the other products! It is NOT WATER SOLUBLE!!! You could go out in fog, rain showers, 100% humidity, even swimming (bonus-protects against chlorine damage) and your hair will NOT FRIZZ. I swear to god. My city is like an oven in summer from the humidity, and i've gotten caught in a few storms, and my hair never poofs at all. Ever! And this is the only thing I put into my super, super curly and frizz prone hair!

Also, it has no alchohol. And your hair always looks smooth, supple and shiny because it locks moisture into your hair. With that extra moisture, you can use a nice ceramic flat iron ( I use the FHI Platform--it's cheaper than the CHI and works much, much better ) and touch up your hair EVERY DAY with VIRTUALLY NO DAMAGE! (and if anyone's hair would be damaged by that, it's mine...i've bleached it to within an inch of it's life)

I've spent a fortune on other products to help with my frizzy hair, to straighten it, and this does cost about $20 but a little goes a looong way. I use it three times a week on my shoulder length hair and the bottle lasts me 3-4 months.

Bottom line, try it. You definately won't be dissapopinted.

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

Ceramic hair straightners work like a charm on everybody.. plus some product like the serum from john freida. yes, it WILL fry up your hair on the long run but that's the price u gotta pay

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

I said this on another question...

Try dove shampoo and conditioner, it works wonders.

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

I believe that curly hair just wants to fall in the direction it is growing, so I add conditioning products and wear my hair curly- it looks natural and healthy.

However, big hot rollers help and the results are great leaving your hair wavy and soft with no frizz.

Plus, hot rollers aren't as damaging as the hair dryer or harsh straightening solutions. (use a small amount ot setting solution, too much will weigh it down and feel sticky)

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

Do this once a week:

mix 1 cup coconut oit, half cup castor oil, and then take one full table spoon of melted butter(without salt) and mix it well. then massage with this oil mixture into your hair and leave it for over night . then wash your hair with any good brand of shampoo like Dove , Finesse etc. dont forget to use a good conditioner ,after shampoo.

Also protect your hair from sunlight and dust. keep them cover with scarf.

DO THIS ONCE A MONTH:

take a cup mayonnaise and apply it all over your hair and leave them for one hour. take a towel and dip it into hot water. squeeze it and cover your hair with it.leave it for half and hour more. then wash your hair.

your hair will be sooooooooo smoooooth.

good luck !!!!!!!

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

Try using Alberto VO 5 Hairdressing

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

To get Silky smooth hairs u just need to pay som attention to yr rough dry hairs,,,...

try this lol;..it'll help out..

here's a remedy:

Shampoo of flour of gram pulses: Apply paste of flour of gram pulse made with water on the hair twice a week and wash the hand after an hour. The hair becomes black, dense, clean, shining and soft. It also relieves itching or cures boils in the head.

''OR''

Add one-gram black pepper in 100 gm of curd and apply in the scalp. Now wash the hair with warm water once a week. The hair becomes black and beautiful and stops falling.

''OR''

Warm 300 gm coconut oil with 3 gm of black pepper added in it. When it starts boiling stop heating, sieve with a fine cloth and keep in a bottle. Massage with fingertips in the night gently.

Immerse peels of lemon in coconut oil for 8-10 days in sunshine. Now sieve and apply in the hair. Hair becomes black and shining.

It would be even more helpful if you could include pictures and possible steps with your replies.

Thanks

What can I do to my hair?

Buzz it around the side, but keep it a little longer up top, like the Cultural Revolution Red Guards. Screams "Asian nostalgia."

theres like 4 choices haha

What can I do to my hair?

One word: gel.

Will my hair turn green?

I'm thinking of getting my tips done blue but with my black asian hair I would have to bleech it first. Someone told me you can't get white dye so i'll have to bleach it blonde first before i can add the blue, but when i add the blue will it turn green?

Will my hair turn green?

nope

Will my hair turn green?

nope

Will my hair turn green?

If the bleach is left on long enough, it will make your tips white. If you don't leave it on long enough, it'll come out kind of orange, not good. Putting the blue dye on the orange will not have the best color effect. Blue on the white will be okay. As the blue fades, it will turn some not-as-cute shades of purpley, periwinkle, and sometimes even greenish. But, if you make sure to use shampoo for color treated hair, and re-apply the blue when it starts to fade you should be okay

Will my hair turn green?

it depends on the blue. Is it a light blue? dark blue? do you want just an average blue, or u dont really care? id choose a dark blue because if it does change color it is less likely to change dramatically.

Will my hair turn green?

why would it turn green? if your stylist knows what they're doing, they won't mess up and it'll turn out good.

Hair pulling?

Why do Asian women pull out the hair from under their arms while company is over?

Hair pulling?

My sister-in-law does that teachclip!!! and she just so happens to be Asian.

It's a condition called Trichotillomania where the person will pull out their body hair(head, underarm, pubic, skin, eyebrow, eye lashes) these people often suffer from anxiety, stress or shear bordem.

Hair pulling?

HaHa, thats a new one! I need to get me some Asian women friends!

Hair pulling?

ew

wtf

i don't know

Hair pulling?

wow... how did you come up with such a fascinating racist question?

Hair pulling?

connect the dots...la la la la

Hair pulling?

I've never known a asian woman to do that when I'm around, maybe that woman just doesn't care who's there

Hair pulling?

Well in China that is a sign of fondness. They aren't really pulling there armpit hair they just look like it while they are showing you their chest, so that they can do this without being noticed by their parents....

Hair pulling?

um, i have never ever seen or heard of this... sorry i can't be more helpful...

Hair pulling?

I've never seen that. Are you sure you don't mean Caucasian?

Hair pulling?

Hmm Not a question i think i could seriously answer without offending someone so all i will say is EWWWW! and WHY WOULD THEY?? and I HOPE IT IS LIMITED TO ASIAN WOMEN :P

Hair pulling?

it's not only Asian women who pulls their hair under their armpits, a lot of other culture even Americans practice this too, they just don't admit it. But they say, when the hair is pulled instead of shaving it, it grows slower and the hair doesn't get thicker, it grows thinner and sometimes some areas, it doesn't grow back, because you get to pull out the roots as well not just the hair. The root is the white thing that is at the tip on the hair when its pulled out. Same thing like waxing but you pluck it by strand, unlike in waxing its all at the same time. The armpits are far more sensitive and the skin is a lot thinner than our legs. We can protect the dermis by plucking it than shaving, thats why when one shaves, it sometimes stings, because you have scratched the thin outer layer of the skin which can also cause the darkening of armpits, dilated pores , thicker hair..plus deodorants contribute to the darkening process as well. The best is PLUCK it, it's far more safer---use a non alcohol base deodorant or an organic one, there are lot of them widely available in the market...one is the Waitrose product from UK.

Hair problems!?

I'm half asian and half black, so my hair is curly and frizzy. I have no idea what to do with it, most oils dry fairly quickly and the hair usually goes back to the "frizzy-state" after a couple hours. Anyone have any product ideas?

Thanks.

Hair problems!?

yes i know your problem im asian full asian but i have straight hair. if i was you if you want straight hair get hair straighteners or use shampoo and conditioner

Hair problems!?

FLAT IRON YOUR HAIR! your hair is soft and when you flat iron it it wil be smooth and it will look like u have a perm in your hair!

-IF YOU DON'T HAVE A FLAT IRON YOU CAN HOT COMB IT!!

Hair problems!?

relax your hair it may sound girly but itz not my cuz had the same kinda prob he relaxed his hair now itz straight and knot free if it looks to long just cut it! go to a black Caribbean hairdresser and ask how much it is to relax hair itz only like 鎷?0 each month xx

Hair problems!?

Try Paul Mitchell. They have a fairly good line of Hair care products. My sister has very curly and frizzy hair, and she uses the frizz serum, which works wonders on her hair, taming it down. Also, use a wide-tooth comb to get through your hair when it's wet. Anything else I can think of, I'll tell you.

Hair problems!?

Try going to your local store and buy some anti-frizz products (shampoo, cream, leave-in-conditioner, etc.)

Maybe a straightening iron would work, too.

To those with streaked hair: post your pictures!?

my hair is black (i'm asian).. and I'm thinking about putting one or two large streaks(or chunks) of color in my hair.. my thoughts either: vivid blue, vivid green, pink or red, but if i see a really nice color i'll consider otherwise =)

So if you have any pictures of your hair with a couple of streaks or just streaks, please post them up! Any color is fine~!

btw, my hair is alawys up in a pony tail, so would the 1 or 2 streaks look funny...? or should i dye the bottom of my hair (common so i want to stay away from this). could someone post up a picture of their hair down and another with a ponytail? it would be really helpful, thanks.

and i'm not asking about what dye to use, i just need pictures =)

To those with streaked hair: post your pictures!?

i don't have any pictures, but i saw an Asian girl walk out of the salon before with red streaks in her black hair. it looked awesome!

To those with streaked hair: post your pictures!?

sorry im a girl with the wrong hair color but my cousin had blue but it looks totally awesome and you can tell in the light mostly so yeah... I SAy BLUE

What can i do with long hair?

Am south asian and my hair is pretty long i can't do much with it so i just put it back in a braid i was wondering what else i can do with my hair that will suit my age. (Am going to grade 8)

What can i do with long hair?

I put mine in a messy bun. You pin your bangs back to how you like them. Then you loosly twirl your hair and pin it up with bobby pins. It gives it a lot more body then a tight bun would.

What can i do with long hair?

try curling it.

or you could put it in a bun

or french braid it.

What can i do with long hair?

french braid

ponytail

2 braids at the side

pig tails

or get a new haircut

What can i do with long hair?

cut it, leave it down, ponytail, half up half down. whatever you'd like.

try new things.

What can i do with long hair?

A perfect bun; high in a ponytail; low ponytail; upswept in a hair clip.

What can i do with long hair?

have you tried bangs or layers? My hair used to be pretty long (before I cut it)... but then i just had side bangs and then put it up in a bun or cliped half back.... also you can put it in braids overnight and then take them out in the morning and it will be crimpy/wavy (as long as your hair doesn't poof...)

What can i do with long hair?

u could try braiding it into little pigtails or scrunching it to get it curly

What can i do with long hair?

Put the top part of your hair in a pony tail and leave the underside down. Or get some cute combs and do the sides up (like these: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im... )

What can i do with long hair?

braids always look attractive and they can be worn hundreds of different ways.

also half ponies look great

another thing i like to do it scrunch if your hair is natural curly

but if its straight

use a volumiziung hampoo and conditioner

then use a curling potion/ 24/7 creme

also take a big curling iron and make big waves

hope its helpful

What can i do with long hair?

you could put it half up, two braids on the side, or a messy bun

also since you are asian it would look so cute if you put in sticks (get ones with a funky design)

What can i do with long hair?

Cut it.

What can i do with long hair?

get a layered haircut, that helps to style it more.

What can i do with long hair?

Give it to locks of love it helps make wigs for children who lost hair due to cancer!

I have Dandruff and I'm Asian!?

Okay, So I'm asian therefore I have black hair. But i have dandruff and it shows up like crazy! Everyone always points at it, its so embarassing. How do i reduce it without going to a "specialist". PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

I have Dandruff and I'm Asian!?

ME TOO! i use this dandruff shampoo from Redken...it works really good...you use it like once a week and you just leave it in your hair for 2-5 minutes then rinse it out...it doesn't stink either...

hope this helps you :)

I have Dandruff and I'm Asian!?

um try washing your hair really good

I have Dandruff and I'm Asian!?

Plenty of over the counter dandruff shampoo's. You can find them at any local store. Prob. 3-5 dollars. Most of the over the counter ones you can use everyday, if your dandruff is really bad.

I have Dandruff and I'm Asian!?

-Make a paste of neem leaves (Azadirachta indica) and apply to the scalp. Leave it on for half an hour and then wash the hair with lukewarm water.

-Eat more raw fruits and vegetables. Eat yogurt with live cultures.

I have Dandruff and I'm Asian!?

You can stop hair loss using many cheap and effective home remedies. Egg white, lemon juice, oil massage are other home remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm... will prevent further problems.

I have Dandruff and I'm Asian!?

here

use head and shoulders

and then use ur regular shamppoo you normally use.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

More males especially whites are starting to have more tan and perfer there hair black. Does this mean Asian males and how they look is a new apperence which all males want?

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

So, Asian ares only tan skin and black hair? Who are you, Vidal Sasoon?

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

Absolutely Not!

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

I think that's just a new trend.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

OMG I LOVE Asian men Ramamurthy is astounding! I've always liked Asian men but I think most women prefer white.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

I'm still wondering how this look is Asian...

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

I happen to think asian men are very attractive, but just because someone tans and dyes their hair doen't mean they want to be asian. It's just a style trend. I have met some asian guys who were very pale. I have also met some non asian guys with tan skin and black hair naturally.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

Ahhhh...NO!

Nice try though, chun Lee

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

sure are the asian shopkeeper in still game is a cracker.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

lol...i wish, maybe, i don't think they're trying to be asian tho, i think it's just a coincidence. I'm an asian male, some girls say i'm attractive but i don't really care...But no, if anything, people are obsessed with asian FEMALES

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

No that look is as passe as the day it was invented. Personally I feel asians lack self identity, and adopt any culture they can cling on to, currently that seems to include body building and rap.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

Naww....I don't really go for Asians that much, unless he's an exception.

Ask why all the Swedish blondes are getting tanned as opposed to natural these days.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

uhh lol not that i know of

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

Not really no.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

iono

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

No way I think skinny oily man is not a good look. UAW.

Are Asian males becoming the new handsome look which everyone wants?

No, dont get big headed. They are trying to look mediterranean not asian.

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

I'm asian...and my hair isn't flat out straight.

It's thick, it's layered, it's ugly when it's not straight. - -

I really really REALLY! want straight hair 24/7.

I want to know if straightening my hair everyday or every few days is bad for me? or my hair and what are the effects in the future.

(If you could, could you please give me advice on how to keep my hair straight?)

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

My hair is exactly the same and I'm asian too. I hate my hair when it isn't straight. Try using "the end" and "beyond straight" by maxius maxiglide before you straighten your hair, it makes you straight hair last longer, oh, and try getting a straight perm, that way, you don't have to straighten your hair everyday just to get it perfect. The Chi hair straighteners work well to, but, it burns your hair if you use it all the time.

Hope I helped.

P.S. Can everyone please answer this question for me, I need as much answers and opinions that I can get. thanks.

http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind...

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

its bad for your hair if you dont use some type of smoothing oil in it, because it breaks off you hair strand.

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

after your hair dries (naturally) put in some biosilk or frizz-ease to protect your hair and just straighten it like normal. asians and hawaiians (me!) have thick hair so washing it every other day and not every day is best! :)

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

I have been straightening my hair every day since I was 13 (I'm *now 17)

My hair is still silky soft. Is it a little drying on your hair, yes. Will it cause any major damage, no.

The key to keeping your hair moisturized is using a heat protectant cream in your hair before you straighten it (L'oreal Hot Straight works great).

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

Well, it will look pretty now but if you keep on doing it everyday or almost everyday. What it does is that it burns your hair and if you though your hair is ugly now you will totally hate it more if you keep on straightening it. When you do a blower its better because it doesn't burn your hair. But, you can't do it everyday ether. If, you don't want your hair to burn do it every other week. the week that you know you can't straight your hair put yell on and make it curly it look pretty like that.

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

It will eventually cause split ends and breakage and make your hair dry.

You can blow dry it using a round brush then smooth with some frizz serum. That should keep it straight and smooth with some volume.

Or you can get it chemically straightened Just consult your salon if you want to go that route.

Good luck to you

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

if you wan an inexpensive way to straighten your hair for a while with out having to use a flat iron every day you can get a relaxer from dark and lovely...it is made for african americans, but my husband, who is white, uses it every 6 months or so. His hair is very thick and curly, but when he uses it, it becomes sleek and shiny. Also you can use a spray called Mink oil on it and it will give it a sleek shiny appearance too.

Good Luck.

OH and if you decide to do this be sure not to leave it on for too long, it will fry your hair and cause it to break off really short!

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

Yes, it is very bad for your hair. I know from experience, if you do this for awhile your hair will begin to break and become very dry and damaged.

Is straightening your hair everyday or almost everyday bad for you?

I used to straighten my hair everyday, but my hair naturally curly. When it would dry after the shower before I straightened it again, it was super curly! My hair was rebelling I think!

I recommend the Chi straightener. They are pretty expensive but are really awesome straighteners because they work to smooth it and not dry it out and it gets really hot so there are less strokes. Check on eBay, but don't get the pink ones. Just the 2" regular Chi in the black box. About $80-100. Good luck!

I need to learn how to put my hair in a bun?

ok, im asian so my hair is stick straight (literally) whenever i try to put it in a bun/ topknot the pieces stick out and look ridiculous and i have to take the bun out. This is my techique: I put it in a ponytail about halfway down my head, then twist the ponytail in a circle and put another hairband in it to make it stay. My hairs shoulderlength with a few jaw length pieces in the front by the way. How do i get the bun in w/o the stick straight peices. I dont put the jaw length pieces in the bun since i know they're too short to stay back. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of the 'stickd' of hair that stick out?

I need to learn how to put my hair in a bun?

well i dance so i have to do buns all the time for ballet so if you want a bun like that heres how:

1. put your hair in a ponytail

2.twist your hair while in the ponytail

3.twist it around the ponytail into the bun shape

4.put enough bun pins in to hold your bun in place

5.put a hairnet around it

6.put in more bobby pins to hold it in place during the day or whenever

if you want you could put a nice hair piece around it or just leave it like that

hope i helped!!

good luck!!

I need to learn how to put my hair in a bun?

just put it up in a messy bun..

it looks wayyy cuter.

I need to learn how to put my hair in a bun?

I agree with the other person who answered, messy buns look a lot better than a regular bun, here is a picture of a messy bun.

http://www.beautifulhairstyles.com/forma...

If you are really wanting to do a regular bun, you may have to let your hair grow out in order to do that because it sounds like you are doing it right but you are getting peices of hair sticking out because your hair is not long enough.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

Okay, so you know how white people's hair is right?

But, when you straighten black people's hair, it doesn't look like it. It looks really thick and dry. Is their anyway at ALL I can get my hair to look like that? I'm open for anything.

For example, white people's hair flies when in the wind, but black people's hair just kind-of lies there like a log?

I like Asian's people hair too!

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

Go to a stylist who specializes in ethnic hair. They will get you started and give you advice. And probably allot of expensive hair product.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

You'd have to get extensions or a weave to have that kind of hair....

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

you need to be happy the way God made and stop trying to look someway you are not, a nice well kept curly hair is very cute.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

Lmao @ black people's hair just kind of lies there like a log....haha, funny!

So if i understood, you want your hair to be really thick and dry? Well, just don't brush when you come out of the shower.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

Try extensions.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

I think you're the first guy i've ever heard admit that he was clueless about anything. Thank you. you have renewed my faith in the male sex.

Blonde Asian ?

im half filipino %26amp; half white. about 4 monthes ago i had my hair highlighted with different streaks of blonde. im thinking about going mainly light blonde with red streaks , but still have dark hair underneath. i look more asian , so do you think this would be a bad idea ?

Blonde Asian ?

it doesn't matter whether you're asian or not..

it's just the color combo that scares me a bit

How do you flatten hair?

I have hair that instead of sticking down it sticks out. people would call that asian hair (no offense). What can I do to make it more flat?

How do you flatten hair?

I have very naturally curly and frizzy hair and sometimes it just goes wherever it wants to. I use "super skinny" by Paul Mitchell, which is a serum that works wonders on moisturizing and calming my hair before I dry it. It takes away the "poofy-ness". Something else you could try is using a round brush when you are drying your hair to turn it under. Also, when I'm using my straightening iron, I ALWAYS use "smooth %26amp; seal" by Big Sexy Hair to protect it and it helps me with the "directions" I want my hair to go.

How do you flatten hair?

Have a car run your head over LOL, sorry just kidding

How do you flatten hair?

iron it

Should I wax my arm hair?

Okay, so here's the deal: I'm asian so my hair grows so dark that it looks black and against my skin it's very noticable. And I have hair on my arms. I'm a girl so It's not super thick like a guy's, but it's not exactly barely there either. I think it's repulsive. Should I wax it off? Or should i use Nair? Also, I've been reading around and people are saying that if I wax it for years and years, it'll stop growing. Is that true?

Should I wax my arm hair?

dont ...thing is it hurts why dont u jus use a hair remover that way it dont hurt and well u have to do it often but hey its easier

Should I wax my arm hair?

No! Ow! Nooooooo!

You might try bleach instead, because if you remove the hairs, they are GOING TO GROW BACK. Stubbly arms = eeeeeew.

Should I wax my arm hair?

wax them, it dosnt hurt as badly as people say it does. and after a while it gets lighter.

so do it! its worth it.

and dont use nair or shave it will come in stubbily if u wax or thread it will come in smoothley.

Should I wax my arm hair?

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

Should I wax my arm hair?

I think you should wax it off. yes it going to hurt a bit (beauty hurts, lol) but the results are going to be great. It last for about 6 weeks until the hair comes back, but it'll start to get thinner and lighter if you coutinue to wax.

Should I wax my arm hair?

waxing is best

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

i hav an oval/asian face, straight jet black hair. it's really boring, i want to spice my hair a little bit.

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

If you can get into using product and styling, get it cut into a spiky shag like Shane on the L-Word, wear with really dark eyeliner. Its dramatic and really hot.

If you want to keep it straight and long, do straight, thick bangs cut so its right above your eyes, and then leave the sides very straight and long....like Anne Hathaway after her makeover in The Devil Wears Prada. Its so chic right now!

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

leave it alone, babe

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

have a stlist lightly put carmen lighter golden brown foil hi lights around face

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

How about adding blonde chunks/highlights ? I have realy dark brown hair and I am going to try blonde chunks too :) , You can also try adding red or fuschia/purple chunks/highlights.. These colors look awesome with real dark hair, hope it works ;) .

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

wow, that is so very exotic, Asian round face ( with those almond eyes i hope) and raven's wing hair!! I am an old guy, so maybe i do not know? you want different, just suggestions, not to be held responsible? totally silver, not grey but shiny silver with interwoven tinsel, only for disco? well OK.how about a layered sort of a dye job in Popsicle colours like one of the ones that they used to call rocket. if you do not remember they were an almost day glow white, blue and pink, but that would only work with really long straight hair down to the bottom of the pockets of your jeans.( back pockets) I wish that I could give you a real good answer but I am an old guy and you are of a different gen and likely in a different culture, my grand niece could likely tell you what you want to know or maybe even my youngest niece, my son would tell you what his opinion is but he is an eighteen year old male, not to be trusted at all, sorry that I could not help, good night

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

Your hair sounds beautiful! I wouldn't change it too much. I would leave it longer...maybe to above (for lack of better explanation) your bra strap in the back with long layers. If you have never colored your hair...I wouldn't. Once you start, you can't go back! I started out a beautiful golden blond. I colored my hair light brown. I will never be blond again! It sounds like you have a good thing going already, why mess with it? I would do subtle changes. I have a more rounded face so trust me when I say if you go too short you'll look like a bowling ball with fur and if you keep it too long with blunt cut bangs above your eyes then you'll look like a bowling ball with a wig! I would do your hair as suggested above and leave bangs that fall just below the brow.

I hope I helped! Best of luck to you!

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

Try a side bang with short layers coming toward your face. Keep your length of your hair. also, I'd recommend some auburn or red highlights around the face, to off set the black hair. And bring out your eyes and skin color!

Is the color of your body hair the same as the one on the top of your head and eyebrows?

I'm 35 years old, Will I get more body hair growth, I'm an Asian

Is the color of your body hair the same as the one on the top of your head and eyebrows?

As a fellow asian, it appears that I am black-haired all over.

Is the color of your body hair the same as the one on the top of your head and eyebrows?

The color of the hair all over your body is the same. Usually, due to sun exposure and other factors, the hair on your head is lighter the your chest, armpits, pubic or legs hair.

At 35, it is quite unlikely for hair to grow in new places. It will probably continue growing where you already ahve it. At most, it will get denser.

Is the color of your body hair the same as the one on the top of your head and eyebrows?

It usually shares the same colour albeit with slight variation in tint or looks paler. If you're black haired the same will be for the body hair, a blonde the same, redhead same.

How do i make my hair better? pleasee help?

like how do i get it so that it moves, and it falls down when i like flip my hair? i'm black and my hair's natural. what i do is i wash and condition my hair, towel dry it, use my blow dryer w/the comb attachment, then straighten it section by section starting from the back. it gets nice and straight, and it moves, but i wanna know if theres a way for it to move even MORE? like make it closer to the texture of asian peoples hair? lol. i love how straight and silky their hair is. give me products and methods PLEASE.

How do i make my hair better? pleasee help?

Well personally i HATE grease b/c it makes your hair stiff, and i dnt really like oil sheen that much either so i ALWAYS use baby oil on my hair and it makes my hair really strait, silky lookin and really really soft. I just spray (put it in a spray bottle, its alot easier. lol) some in my hair b4 i straiting it and then i spray some more in my hair after wards and then wrap my hair up!!! i been doin this 4 years and i love it!!!=)

Does anyone have my type of hair? Please help me!?

I am a mixture of Black, Cuban, and Asian and I have the weirdest hair ever. I have NEVER met anyone with my type of hair and it is really hard to find products that work for me. My hair is wavy, but it is kind of like a tight wave. It looks kind of like when you braid your hair over night, and unbraid it the next day. That type of wavy, but kind of small and consistent from the roots. But on the back of my head, my hair curls up into big bouncy curls. It is kind of like a spiral... besides it is at the very bottom. For instance, if I was to pull my hair up, you would see a bunch of curls in the back,

Now, what type of hair is this and how can I take care of it?! And is it possible that I have a mixture of all the different types of hair (besides straight)?

Does anyone have my type of hair? Please help me!?

Well i dont think i can help u completley but im russian and black and i guess my hair is a little "weirder" too. Some days its exremnly curly an other days it more wavy.My sissters hair is different though. Its so beautiful and kinky sometimes ,spiral curles and other times it looks like she hasnt had a perm in months! What determines her hair (and also mine ) is how we wash it !!!! Im not sure if ive ever seen hair like yours but i would sugest washing it with a super moisturising shampoo(like pantene) and afterwards using a GOOD conditioner(pantene has good ones as well) and rinsing it out not completly but that your hair feels soft(rinse it out with cold COLD water!!) .Then to make it look even better you can use some hair products by Sunsilk to keep frizz away. This shuld make the most beautiful out of your georgeous hair !!!!

Does anyone have my type of hair? Please help me!?

It would be put in the curly catagory. If your hair is dry and frizz you need to condition it. With cholestrol treatments. This will help if you have dry hair and scalp. If your hair is ok and the structure is the onlything you are worried about then try a relaxer.

Does anyone have my type of hair? Please help me!?

if i was you, i would make my hair currlyer or straight...one of them both.. did you try some mouse to make you curls looke more alive? i donno.. i have something like your hair.. and its really hard to make it look good.. i had it really long and it was straight... now i have it shorter and its all wavy.. and curly.. and odd... i'm quite never pleased with it !! i usually straighten it but that is really bad for my hair so i want to do it less.. good luck :P

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

I'm half asian so I have black hair that i highlighted about half a year ago (the highlights are pretty faded) and every since i highlighted it it has been very frizzy and puffy.... I usually put it in a ponytail while it is drying to try keep the frizz and volume down, but i still have flyaways all over the place! I want some treatment like a hot oil massage or one of those "hair mask" things with yogurt and lemon juice and such (by the way, I have NO idea how to do those things so you'll have to be precise!), or perhaps someone can recommend some good styling products for frizzy hair? Ones that actually work? Thanks so much!

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

Do a moisturizing treatment as often as 3 times a week to once a week. I usually put some mayonaise in my hair and leave it for 20 minutes and wash it thoroughly like, 3 times to get all the extra oil out.

Or heat up 1/2 cup of olive oil or less (depending on your hair length) in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Test the heat, and if it's not too hot for your hair, pour it on or use a painter brush to get it through your hair. Use a wide tooth comb if needed to distribute evenly.

Hair Masks: L'Oreal Vive - the best. Follow instructions to the letter :)

The best styling product is JOhn Frieda's Frizz-Ease. Start with a dime-sized blob through the top layers and where the frizz is. You can always add more later. It's harder to take away oil than to add.

Well, hope I helped.

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

I swear by Infusium leave in conditioner. They have a special formula for frizz.

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

after you wash your hair with shampoo take a good conditioner and leave it in your hair for about 4 min. and then rinse it out. buy some leave in conditioner for when your out of the shower. it will take it a week or so but you will see inprovment.

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

try using VO5 hot oil treatments.....its worked for me....another thing I do is I use this stuff that makes your hair shine, and it also tames the frizz....I use Paul Mitchell, but you can get very similar products at wal-mart.

I also use Infuzium leave in conditioner!

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

okay this is goin to sound REALLY nasty, but try "soaking" ur hair in mayonaise, just lik eput it all in there and then put it in like a shower cap and let it soak over night. it should be all silky by the next day... also when u shampoo and stuff

dont shampoo everyday, and condition your whole head and let the conditioner soak for aobut a minute-2 minutes then rinse it out. and also dont use too many things that damage ur hair like durling irons, straighteners, blow dryers, etc.

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

use anti frizz serum

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

Your asian! Asians have the perfect hair. It has all the cortexs. You should never have a problem with frizzy hair. Youre doing something wrong in your daily hair care regimen. Treatments will only last for a while. They wont fix the problem, they will mask it. Find out what your doing wrong.

In the mean time Pantene Pro-V is the best for treatments. Im black I use ThermaSilk Conditioner. Try it.

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

Aussi! :)

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

i have really frizy curly/wavy hair, and the best i have found for that solution is a good conditioner ( DOVE is the best yet ) leave in for like 3-5 mins ( depending on your hair length ) a straightener works great!! you might want to try the V05 straightening spray ( u can get at wal-mart for like $3) ....but dont use V05 shampoo and conditioner- it will fry your hair faster. Frizz-ease, did not work for me, it made me hair greasy. after straightening it, then spray, maybe even a ligt shine spray afterwards. good luck

Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

i'm half asian too, and i have the exact same problem!!! lol. what i use is sunsilk shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme (anti-poof or de-frizz, both work great), then if i feel up to it, i blow dry it with a flat brush, or otherwise i wait for it to dry then straighten it. some advice maybe: i usually wear one of those cowboy hats, but not so big after i've put the 24/7 creme or john frieda simply sleek straightening balm in. yes, it does look ridiculous, but especially on nights that i have to go to sleep with wet hair, it is a lifesaver! otherwise, i used to do the hairtie thing too, and it was pretty good for me (i can't do that technique for now, cause my hairs too short!) also, to make your hair really shiny, (yes it sounds icky) but put mayo in your hair for 10-20 minutes then make sure to wash it out thoroughly. : )

good luck!

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

maybe like 2-3 months. .

but im asian and i have medium lenght hair

i was wondering what color i should dye my hair

maybe mahogany, auburn, copper or some highlights

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc16/...

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

im asian too and i didn't have to bleach it. i think you should try red brown. that's what i started out with and it showed up fine.

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

stick with that color

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

I'd go for a rich chestnut colour, its not light and will jazz up your hair and lovely features a treat! Try them wash-in, wash-out colours first and see what you like!

Good luck

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

get some extensions from sallys beauty.....they have clip- ins that would give you that temporary look

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

try red lighlights !

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

I would kill for your hair. But if you really want to start the process of chemically ruining it... its going to be tough. Your hair is dark, so most colors won't show up unless you bleach first. You could try one of those all over semipermanent colors from the drugstore (Natural Instincts), and I'd suggest burgundy. The color will eventually fade mostly, and your hair won't get too too horribly damaged.

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

i'd say keep that color, maybe do some red highlight.. i think you should get bangs!! Straight-cut across..

like this length though:

http://www.fashioninc.org/UserFiles/Imag...

it would look soo cute on you.... i like your smile :) lol

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

I'd go for a lighter color and get some highlights.

Would color hair would i look good with??(pics included) i want it to be temporary?

copper and mahogany highlights

Where can I find a hair dresser who is good with cutting Asian hair in the Sacramento area?

Usually, the best way to find a good hairdresser is if you see someone with similar hair to yours where they get their hair cut. Hope you find someone good!

Will I look good with copper-colored hair?

I am Asian and I have black hair. I'm average looking. I have a very simple face but it's not really attractive. I'm not fat.

I'm really thinking of dying my hair copper. My colleague told me copper wouldn't look good on me and I might not be able to pull it off because I look too simple and my face looks shy.

What do you think?

Will I look good with copper-colored hair?

go for it girl

Will I look good with copper-colored hair?

Honey stay they way you are, you were made that way for a reason, so don't try to impress someone etc, by changing your hair color, etc... Just be yourself !!!

Will I look good with copper-colored hair?

You'll never really know until you try it. As long as you're doing it for yourself and not to impress someone else. Goodluck:)

Will I look good with copper-colored hair?

If you want to add a bit more colour to your hair then try putting in copper highlights. If you have them done in the second layer of your hair then people won't be able to notice so much when they grow out.

Will I look good with copper-colored hair?

Don't go Copper, you'll look like a tin-tac!

Will I look good with copper-colored hair?

~NO u will look sooooooooo U-G-L-Y good thing u asked!!!!!!!!!!~

Will I look good with copper-colored hair?

I suggest that you get some highlights of the color first,to see if you are really going to like it. Its always better to play it safe!!!

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

i have already tried giving myself streaks of bright red...and i am asian so i have balck hair...it looks pretty good right now...

and wanted to do a light pink or sumthin next...but can't choose between a NATURAL color or wild color...i like the wild colors but i don't no if natural is good for me...i would probably stand out in the crowd LOL..

should i try natural colors or wild colors?

and WAT colors?

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

Oh, wild colors, definitely! So much more fun than those natural colors! ;]

I think the red streaks sound really pretty up against the rest of your black hair (pretty much the same as mine, except I don't have streaks of red...mine is dyed an extremely dark brown, and then a small layer underneath the dark brown is a pinkish/red)

...but if you want to try something new, maybe try an aqua-blue or a purple? Yet again, pink would be very cute too!

And surprisingly, those wild n' crazy colors are REALLY good for your hair! Those natural-looking colors you get in those boxes, not so great....

But anyways, good luck on deciding!

-閳? Teetoe

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

try a wild color.

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

wild but one streak it would look bad if more

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

if your young ,go wild it looks fun on a young girl !

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

if you're young, go for the wild while it'll still look good on you. if you're older, say mid 20's, stay natural unless you have that edgy rocker look.

try some blue, purple, pink, or red. something bright. don't do orange or yellow cause it'll look like you're ready for halloween. =]

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

i think it depends on your attitude and personality. Wild colors work on people if they have a punky look. If you are more of the preppy or just casual type of person go for natural. I like the look of caramel highlight in dark hair. I personally would chose carmel highlights.

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

I dyed my hair purple last year and I got suspended in school for a week. If your in school and they allow it.. go for purple.. I have naturally dark hail it looks amazing ^^

COLOR...? wild colors on hair or NATURAL???

you should go with the wild color i think it would look better especially with the red high lights i think it would look amazing =]

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

specificallychinese and japanese people?

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

A pure-blooded Asian will never be blonde or have blue eyes. A half-Asian will not have blonde hair or blue eyes. Only people with quarter-blood or less can have blonde hair or blue eyes.

This is because the dark hair and dark eyes of Asians is genetic, and dark hair and eyes are dominant over light hair and lighter-colored eyes.

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

There are Japanese that have Caucasian features. The blond/white hair with blue/violet eyes are 100% jap.The green eyed and brown, red hair are mixed. They are rare an mostly only live away from people because they are not liked. You'll probably nvr see one here. I have some pics. Report It

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

Some times

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

Um.. no but that would be kinda weird but cool at the same time. Unless you get some technology to make asian people have blonde hair and blue eyes.

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

unless they dye their hair and wear coloured contacts, i don't think so. but that's what makes them so special. :)

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

Only if one of their parents was only half-Asian. Otherwise, the dark hair and eyes are dominant.

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

No, they never do, unless they are mixed

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

Completely Asian without highlights or contacts extremely unlikely its not in their genealogy Black hair and brown eyes are the dominant trait.

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

no unless they put on lenses and dyed their hair...

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

what? no. thats jewish smart one.

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

interesting question. ive never seen one. but i think they dont. and i think that they only have a chance at having blue eyes and blonde hair if they were mixed. like one of their parents is blonde with blue eyes.

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

i've seen some... but i'm pretty sure they bleached the heck out of their hair and the light blue eyes are from Acuvue. My friend recently had a daughter and her eyes are gray, her and her husband are both Chinese. So, I guess gray is the only NATRURAL color I have seen besides brown.

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

No,unless they are of mix-marriages.I have a girlfriend who's Chinese and she's married to a Canadian(caucasian) so now their little daughter has a pretty mix of Chinese-Caucasian look in terms of her skin and "Chinese" eyes but she has nice light brown hair and greyish-blue eyes. And she's beautiful...a good mix! :)

Do Asian people ever have blue eyes and blonde hair?

the most intelligent question I've ever heard!!

Hair stylists help me - scene hair - desperate..basically?

alright, everyone knows what that asian-ish scene hair style is, the only thing that seems to be impossible is to even get your hair that straight. i have straight -kinda wavy hair, a decent ceramic straightener, and probably wax from every brand.

how do you get your hair so damn straight?

what do you do to get it so perfect?

if you dont know what scene hair is =

http://scene-hair.skyblog.com/26.html

Hair stylists help me - scene hair - desperate..basically?

First apply a light weight product ex: Logics shaping mousse, dry your hair with a paddle brush or a round brush. ALWAYS keep the blowdryer angled in the direction you want the hair tol lay (if you want it to be smooth %26amp; straight keep it angled down) If you just blow the hair straight on thats when you get frizz. After its dry, take small sections with a flat iron (don't turn your wrist like with a curling iron) In my opinion a professional flat iron like CHI work the best. After its straight, use a gloss%26amp; paste (logics shine serum %26amp; redken's rough paste) mix the products together in your hands, start to work it in at the ends first!!! then at the roots, to get the seperation %26amp; height in the crown use the palm of your hand and rub in a circle several times then smooth into place with your fingers

Hair stylists help me - scene hair - desperate..basically?

okay well what knd of straightner do you have? and is it the skinny one or the wide one if you hair is as short as the scene pictures youll need the skiny one and before you straighten it youll need to put a texturizer and hairspray in it before you straightn it and it will get straight. also when you straightning pull all your hair up and start at the nape of your neck and pull out of the ponytail an inch of hair by sections putting texturizer, hairspray, and then brushing thru to distribute and then straighten the section you have pulled if you do it like this your hair will be very straight.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat prot

I have recently started using heat protection since I started noticing that my hair is becoming very thin, breaks easily, frizzy and have execcisive flyaways... anything that will help restore my hair back to it's pretty, shiny, soft and healthy state? oh and I have Asian naturally curly hair....

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

ok i would not say comb it or brush it that can cause more damage. Start off by swithching out your shampoo, maybe switch to something mild for a week or so, like baby shampoo, this will clean it but lock in moisture . every other day for about 2 weeks pour about 3 table spoons full of extra virgin olive oile into a small bowl, add a spoonful of mayaonaise( i know it sounds gross but it does the trick) massage into hair and let sit about 5 to ten minutes wrap hair in towel, then wash with the baby shampoo. if you can forgo the straightning, then i would say wear it naturaul for about a month trim the ends that split. your hair should be back to normal within a month

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

Wash, comb, take care

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

this is what i do because i dye my hair and use heat on it all the time. once a week i mix half olive oil and half honey. enough to saturate your hair. warm it up in the microwave and put it on like shampoo. wrap your head up in a towel and leave it on for like an hour before you go to bed. shampoo it out and your hair will be shiny and soft.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

you should get some leave in conditioner. massage your scalp everyday to stimulate growth. maybe like 3 minutes a day. and if you can't stop putting heat on your hair. try to reduce it as much as possible.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

stop straightening and use some high quality shampoo and conditioner, also a leave in conditioner as well. Let your hair dry natural and maybe think about using a product that will enhance your curl and go curly for a while.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

I would stop straightening it for a while and keep trimming it.

deep conditioner too.

Your hair is like a rope and you have to keep it from unraveling, but once you have unraveled it there is no turning back (you can put stuff on it in the mean time) but you will have to cut it off.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

Nioxin thats the only cure i know for damaged hair

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

pantene has a fairly new line called restoratives. i also have damaged hair and i have used these. you should also keep dying and any chemicals to a minimum.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

HELLO!

Have all of your hair cut off and shaved to your scalp. Then start all over again letting the hair grown. But this time take care of your hair.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

Start using deep conditioners and cut as much off as you can stand. Make sure you always protect your hair and let it grow out.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

A complete head shave should do the trick.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

theres no going back! i have the same problem go to a slan and ask professional advice, i think they have treaments for it but nothin will get rid on dry hair unless u shave it of n let it grow agen lol may be expensive but anything is better than dry hair

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

PANTENE PANTENE PATENE AND MORE PANTENE

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

ok first of all whatever you do DONT USE PANTENE. the only reason that stuff makes your hair look shiny and silky is because its like pure wax on your head. it is really bad for your hair. ok now that that is taken care of the best thing you can do is go get like 2 or 3 inches cut off your hair and then start using a high quality shampoo and conditioner. it might be a little expensive but you dont want to use anything really cheap or anything from a grocery store because products from a grocery store or a place that isnt a salon are usually left over products and arent going to be good for your hair at all. as far as straightening blowdrying and curling it start using a heat protecting product for your hair before you apply any heat to it. also to cut down on heat maybe dont blowdry it let it airdry. and buying a GREAT flat iron like a chi is actually better for your hair because they have a greater heat output, that might sound worse for your hair but its not. if you have a flat iron that isnt that hot you have to use it on the same strand of hair mulitple times to get the same effect that a hotter product could do in one time. hope this helped!

Is There A Shampoo That Temporary Curls Your Hair? Like A Perm?

i asked my mother if i can get a perm. (im asian, with long hair) because im at the point in high school where i want to be different (yeah i kind of realized it) so i grew out my hair because you see a lot of boys with short hair, id be one of the few with long hair, but now asian boys with long hair have straight hair, if i can get it curly, afro- like but still soft and silky as if i just unbraided my hair, that would be cool, but for temporary for like a day or a week maybe, i dont want to get a perm because i know its going to stick around for a long time. so yeah are there any hair shampoo or anything that i can find in walgreens that will make my hair afro-like temporary? thanks.

heres an example picture of what i want my hair to look like.

Is There A Shampoo That Temporary Curls Your Hair? Like A Perm?

They do make a shampoo, its called Wash and Curl. However, with your hair type it's not going to give you the effect you are going for. Asian hair is typically very smooth and straight and doesn't hold a curl well. I would try applying a texturizing product and braiding your hair in small braids, do you know a friend who does cornrows? Let it dry thoroughly, spray with hairspray and take out, then back comb to get the effect you are going for.

Is There A Shampoo That Temporary Curls Your Hair? Like A Perm?

I dont know of any personally, but ask around

preferably at maybe a barbar shop where they tend to that stuff.

Is There A Shampoo That Temporary Curls Your Hair? Like A Perm?

yea im not exacly sure what its called but there's a shampoo that makes your hair temp curly ive seen it at long's before never used it though

Is There A Shampoo That Temporary Curls Your Hair? Like A Perm?

Yeah i think Herbal Essences makes one...

Is There A Shampoo That Temporary Curls Your Hair? Like A Perm?

No shampoo wash and curl doesn't exist any more plus you have to put curlers in your hair also until they dry. But I use a barrel waver on my hair. It has three barrels on it in the shape of a straightener made by Vidal Sassoon. It is the best ever most people thing its natural. I can't seem to find it on VS web site but you can find it a target and other stores like that.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

what superpower would you choose to have?

How Can I Wave My Hair Like This????

you can use moose and just scrunch your hair up and if the moose is strong enough it will hold your hair. the tighter you scrunch your hair up the tighter your waves will b... if you have thick hair it might not work that great

How Can I Wave My Hair Like This????

cute. u dont look asain though lol i like it

How Can I Wave My Hair Like This????

Well,

RIGHT when you get out the shower,

Get Hairspray %26amp;%26amp; mousse..

I perfer that Aussie Mousse,

Really works.

But brush your hair in the shower,

so when you get out,

its straight and heavy with water,

Put mousse in your hair,

SCRUNCH it everywhere,

you will need a lot of it.

But not the whole can...duh...lol..

then when your satified, Put a coat/spray of hairspray to keep in touch.

How Can I Wave My Hair Like This????

All you have to do is buy a one inch curling iron. Spray your hair before you curl it and then curl it on the hottest setting. then put spray on afterwards!

How Can I Wave My Hair Like This????

With the second one, I just curl my hair going in the opposite direction and in a kind of spiral. With the bang it is a flip but bring the curler or flat iron going towards your ear. A lot of my Asian friends say that they have to use a lot of hairspray because their hair is so fine that it won't hold a curl, so get a nice holding spray that doesn't flake.

How Can I Wave My Hair Like This????

you'll need to use hot rollers or a wide barrell curling iron. put on some volimizing creme into your hair as you dry it, and dry it upside down so there's lots of volume.

then curl long sections of your hair into big, full waves. spray each curl as it sets, and then use a finishing spay when your whole head is done so the hair is soft and shiny, but it keeps its hold!

asian hair, as im sure you know, is particularly hard to get to keep the curl, so try out different products and tools to see what works best for you!

How Can I Wave My Hair Like This????

as soon as you get out the shower from washing your hair, get some hair spray. spray it in your hair and scrunch it. when you have the look you want, blow dry

How should I do my hair for the first day of school?

Ok, well, school starts on Sep 6th, and I was wondering how I should do my hair and makeup. I am asian, from Mongolia. Even though it is summer, I have light skin because I haven't been to the pool in a while. But even so, I like my pale skin. Um, my eyes are SUPER dark, and almond shaped. So what color eyeshadow would compliment my eyes? Umm, my hair is layered, and the sun made it kinda lighter, but it turns darker in the fall. I have a side swept bang, but not one that covers the whole face, it pretty much doesn't go over my eyes. Thanks for the help!

How should I do my hair for the first day of school?

If it wants to call the attention all for its style of hair, I give a simple, but infallible super tip: Untied, smooth and well well-taken care of hair. They will seem healthful very, make a strong hidrata鑾借尗o, she can be made in house, and after drying, she uses the plate and she does not forget not to make it straight, and yes to mold it with the plate in the form of the cut:

Long and silky hair call the attention very!! Agree?

On the make up, I have a video in the Youtube, that goes to help it:

Simple and pretty make up.

It will be irresistible!

Good luck, dear!

How should I do my hair for the first day of school?

You should put it in a pony tail and rock sweats. Cause school is lame and it doesn't matter at all.

How should I do my hair for the first day of school?

You could put your hair up in a ponytail and wear a headband for decoration, i.e. not to hold your hair back.

I have falling hair, but i want to dye it - whats the best way to strengthen in it before i dye it?

im 14, and asian so my hair is pretty dark. i want to dye my hair a blue so deep its almost black, so in sunlight or in the shade my hair will look blackish blue?

but theres a chance i might i have to bleach my hair before i dye it, so the color shows up better. im losing hair, everytime i shampoo, a hundred or more hairs fall out, and when i pass my hand through my hair - 4-6 hairs will fall out. i used to have massive thick hair, and now it feels thin, and i can wrap one fist around my hair now! thats how thin its gotten. How can i strengthen my hair, and stop the falling, to prepare my hair for dyeing? im afraid if i dye it, it might fall out more, but i want to dye it badly! btw: my hair is very wavy, can be a bit frizzy

I have falling hair, but i want to dye it - whats the best way to strengthen in it before i dye it?

mine does the same i think its normal but im not really sure

What kind of hair style and hair color would look good on me?

I'm an asian male that has mid-length hair, fairly long for men, I wear silver squared rimmed glasses and have a typical asian complexion(not pale or tanned), oblong face too. I've had my hair dyed brown, but it doesn't seem to go with my glasses. I'm going to see my hair stylist so any suggestions? Links to pictures would be appreciated

What kind of hair style and hair color would look good on me?

Irekon a blond style, mabey blonde strikes and ur normal hair or even black. It really looks good on most people. u should try it!!

What kind of hair style and hair color would look good on me?

A picture would help us too. Your stylist can help you because he/she can atleast see you.

What kind of hair style and hair color would look good on me?

umm ur hair doesnt have to match ur glasses lol leave ur hair the color that it is, just get a haircut, ur hairstylist can help u find a hairstyle that best suits u and ur face style, for the glasses situation, just get contacts

What kind of hair style and hair color would look good on me?

if you want to go subtle different you can try blue black. its black until you really take a good look at it or when light hits it at a different angle. I used the box Feria L'Oreal color because I dont have the money to get it dyed at a salon right now. it looks amazing! i love the color and it really works because i went from a blonde to blue black hair. its worth trying :)

What kind of hair style and hair color would look good on me?

I think with an oblong face you'll look better with an oval shaped glasses of a darker shade of colour such as dark brown or tortoiseshell. And PLEAZZZE...don't go blond!!

Personally,I feel Asian doesn't look good with blond hair. They look like "manga" characters and like what my S'porean friends say like "Ah Beng".I'm not sure if you know what they mean.Sorry, but I think you'll look better with a medium brown shade. If you like your hair long as is,you could also try tying a ponytail.Reminds me of my graphic designer friend. With glasses and all,I think he looks cool.

Also check this site out.It has a variety of hair styles for men %26amp; women. You can also choose the face shape and eye-colour and check on hair styles and colour virtually.

What should i highlight my hair or dye my hair to be?

Im asian with dark dark brown hair and i wonder should i dye it all blonde閿涘r copper like color??or get highlights?

What should i highlight my hair or dye my hair to be?

Definately not blonde! Its hard on your hair, won't suit your colouring and will look horrible when your roots come thru (about a week later!) What about a dark auburn tint, with some warm copper highlights? Or Auburn with deep red lowlights? Both would look great - but make sure the reds have a warm tint rather than a cold one - your hairdresser will know the difference

Have fun!

Jx

What should i highlight my hair or dye my hair to be?

i think a lighter copper color would be good. be careful though with the type of highlights you use. some can ruin your hair.

What should i highlight my hair or dye my hair to be?

I recommend highlights. A lot of the time, people look much better with regular hair color, a little style, and some well placed highlights.

What should i highlight my hair or dye my hair to be?

don't die your hair blonde because it will look cute for about 2 week

Just wait till you have an itch of dark root at the top of your hair, you'll hate it!!!!!!!!!

Lightening over highlighted hair -- bad idea? Any other thoughts?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any advice for me... I've been getting my hair done at a salon but lately I haven't had the time or money to go back %26amp; get them touched up. I naturally have really dark brown, almost black hair (I'm Asian) %26amp; fair skin color, %26amp; my highlights are pretty light, almost blondish. The roots have grown out quite a lot so it's not looking too good right now! =o(

I used to use the Feria highlift browns specially made for lightening dark hair but I noticed that on the box there's a warning not to use it on highlighted hair. Any advice/ideas? Should I just try to use one of those highlighting kits to touch up the highlights myself? Or possibly darken it so it's all one solid color? I'm not sure if dying it all dark would be a huge disaster though since it's already highlighted, it might come out all uneven... bleh.

Any advice would be really appreciated!! Thanx!

Lightening over highlighted hair -- bad idea? Any other thoughts?

hey i'm asian too and have pretty much the same color highlights. i think you chould get a highlighting kit and touch up your roots. if u lighten your highlights when the box clearly warns you not too, you're probably gunna regret it when your hair becomes a mess

Lightening over highlighted hair -- bad idea? Any other thoughts?

You really do need to get it done professionally. If you don't use the right tone for your roots, you will have orange hair.

Lightening over highlighted hair -- bad idea? Any other thoughts?

I used the same brand Feria and it burned by hair since the day I used it, I don't think you should use it cuzz it ruined my hair.

Lightening over highlighted hair -- bad idea? Any other thoughts?

that warning is usually just in extreme examples, they say dont use blonde hair dye over dyed hair on most boxes for example. go to a friendly hairdresser who will be happy to advise, not one which is just after you money!! also, if you darken over highlighted hair the colour doesnt take too well and will fae quickly, as i found with dying light brown over platinum blonde.hope that helps :)

Lightening over highlighted hair -- bad idea? Any other thoughts?

bad idea

Will my hair ever fall down?

my hair is about 1 %26amp; 1/2 inches long. when i get out the shower it gets poofy unless i put a hat on afterwards. then i take my hat off... my hair will poof in about 10 mins... i want my hair to fall down like skater's hair. how long will it take? oh yea i have asian hair...

Will my hair ever fall down?

ur hair is too short to "fall" down...it need to get to about 3 in before it will fall into place...if you are worried about poofiness...girls call it frizz, go get some BedHead pomade and apply it (conservatively) to the ends...this will weigh your hair down

Bleaching upper lip hair ?

Does it work ? I'm Asian so my hair is black . Give me pros %26amp; cons if you can .

And what is the best drugstore upper lip hair bleach ?

[PS] Do NOT say "Just wax or whatnot", just answer my question . Thanks .

Bleaching upper lip hair ?

yeap it works, jolen is the brand!

Bleaching upper lip hair ?

i have no clue, i dont think u should bleach it at all though.

Bleaching upper lip hair ?

I have that problem...big time! I used to bleach but the problem I had with that is after a couple days it would be almost green because my hair is so dark...also even though it was bleached it was still a mustache! I have been getting it waxed and that works better for me! The ideal thing for the both of us would be laser hair removal! I am looking into that! Good Luck!

I have very thick and unmanageable hair (like Asian hair) that immediately poofs up into a kind of ...?

Seriously, did you know alot of guys straighten their hair? Just go buy a cheap one, you dont need to get one of those super-straight super- seek ones that cost 100 dollars for girls just like those 20-30 ones will work to flatten your hair. really its not a big deal. Girls know, and dont mind.

I have very thick and unmanageable hair (like Asian hair) that immediately poofs up into a kind of ...?

you could use straightening serum----like styling products--- and blow dry it straight

I have very thick and unmanageable hair (like Asian hair) that immediately poofs up into a kind of ...?

Go to a hair salon %26amp; tell the stylist that you want to get rid of a lot of the bulkiness. She/He will thin your hair out by getting rid of a lot of the bulk. You may want to talk to the stylist about getting a razor cut. The shorter you keep your hair, the better. It would make your hair more managable %26amp; easier to take care of. Keep your hair conditioned %26amp; it will make a big difference as well.

How do I grow a full beard? What's an East Asian dude supposed to do?

I am a 21-year-old Chinese male and I want a full-blown beard. I think I have a small percentage of Mongol/Manchurian/Korean/"Siberian" blood in me (by the way, I'm 6 feet 2, muscular, etc, appearing very masculine with a beard but a little fem w/o one).

I actually have somewhat of a beard and have been shaving ever since 7th or 8th grade. It grew a lot more noticeable over my teen years, except the bald patch about my jawlines. I have a mustache too, tho no hair really on my cheeks and the 'stache and beard are not linked up or connected togehter. I like my bearded look, but Asian's black hair type just doesn't have as many strands as brown or blond hair types, and my beard's goatee part under my chin is thin, though mustache and sideburns are prominent.

Frankly, i'm too LAZY and busy to shave. It takes me up to 30 minutes to shave everything nicely. I read that the clean-shaven look is nice for attracting stupid, rich, gullible Korean girls, but.. yeah I'm laaaaaazzzyy

How do I grow a full beard? What's an East Asian dude supposed to do?

if ur hair still doesn't come in fully in some spots then u will look pretty bad......i like goatees but i don't like just a mustache.........buy a electric shaver they work alot faster.hope this helps and good luck

Buy a chia pet and throw away the pet. They also have grass seed that grows on cement blocks.(it was on TV, must be true) Either topped with black spray paint should do you,

My daughter uses a Wet/Dry straightener, and this works wonders.. We got ours at Walmart for around 24 bucks.. you can straightener your hair wet or dry.. we love it..

How can i get rid of my naturally curly hair?

There's something called the flat iron, and hairstylers own those, which straighten up your hair. I used one of those, and my hair was straight until I washed it.

Shampoo before hair colouring?

I dyed my naturally brown black hair black and bleached the bangs blonde. And to get the yellowish brown to be correct shade of blonde i violet toned it with another blonde toner. Now it's not orange or yellow or anything but to my dismay still medium blonde*....

So im going to colour it with Revlon's Custom Effects highlighting kit (haha i know right) and i know that it says here i cant shampoo immediately before colouring....

BUT does it really matter?! can i rinse it with plain water to get the hairspray, etc out and start colouring?

*note: My hair is 100% Asian (aka super thick and resistant). I always have to follow instructions for resistant gray hair when bleaching/colouring my hair

thank you

Shampoo before hair colouring?

The natural oils your hair develops will grab that color and help deposit it into the medulla and cortex of each hair strand. It is good 2 go 1 or 2 days without washing prior to your color application. Try not to use any products for those 1 or 2 days.

Box colors and bleaches are very damaging, you should always try if possible to get proffesional haircare.

Shampoo before hair colouring?

you are going to fry your hair.

Shampoo before hair colouring?

I wouldn't wash my hair if i were you for the color to stay good and be effective. and you deff dont want to die wet hair.

Shampoo before hair colouring?

yeah you can wash your hair i have colored my so many times and not like it and as soon as my hair wasnt wet i dyed it againg so to answer your question yeah you can

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

no:D

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

A lot of people would love to have hair that grows constantly. I love my hair! It's thick, pretty, and long.

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

I envy women with thick lush hair. Mine is "baby fine" and thin looking and it's a curse!

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

I have a love/hate relationship with mine. Sometimes it will do whatever I want it to, and others it won't do anything!

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

My hair is also fine and thin. It breaks easily and is always frizzy. I agree about the Asian or Indian hair. It seems like their hair is always so smooth and shiny and beautiful looking. I also think dark hair is gorgeous.

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

Everyone hates their own hair

We always want what we can't have

The grass is greener on the other side

Its the human condition to be discontent

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

yes cause it straight and unmaniglbel

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

"no"

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

No

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

Yes I do!

I'm 1/2 Puerto Rican and 1/2 European Mutt (Irish, Italian, Polish), and I have very wavy hair that I got from my mom. I can't stand it because its difficult to spike or do anything with it when it grows out and I don't like wavy hairstyles because it doesn't suit me.

I wish I had dead, coarse, straight hair like one of my friends do, or at least really curly hair. Then I could use better styles then I do now. For now I keep my hair short and to a minimum (almost shaved, kind of like David Beckham did).

Do you hate your hair? if yes explain if no just say no.?

mmg yes i completely hate my hairr

i have like the ugliest color ever so i have to get it dyed,, well i dont have to but i choose to.

and i have a really round face and naturally strait hair so it makes my face look rounder

and i can curl or scrunch my hair but it only stays in for like an hourr

it sucks so much

i would give anything to have curly hair

and i would just get a perm but i wouldnt be able to dye my hair anymore and i hate my natural color...=[
