Is there a home remedy to fix dried out hair?

My hair is super dried out because I guess i dye my hair a lot. And for some reason I can't get it back to the way my hair WAS. I have asian hair and right now it's like different tones of color in my hair. I can't get my hair back to the way it WAS even whenever my hair WAS dyed. It used to be really soft and smooth. And now its so brittle and rough. It looks like I can pull it and it could fall off. HAHA. So is there any cheap ways to fix my hair or any home remedies to do? Oh and the dryness might have resulted from dying hair and straightening hair daily.

They say using MAYONNAISE works wonders. Apply generous amount, put on a plastic bag, let set for 30 - 60 mins, then wash out!

Olive Oil

Hair treatment: This helps repair split ends, heals dandruff, and makes your hair shiny, silky, and lustrous. Massage a few tablespoons of olive oil into scalp and hair. Cover hair with a plastic bathing cap and leave on for 30 minutes or more, then shampoo as usual.

ummm first of all QUIT DYING YOUR HAIR. secondly, u have to find a shampoo for dry hair and ALWAYS use conditioner, use a lot of it for the first couple weeks and leave it in for a few minutes before rinsing it out. i straighten my hair every day and my hair stylist tells me that my hair is one of the healthiest she has ever seen. as long as u put the right products in ur hair it will remain healthy.

Combat the damage of chemical treatments, coloring, heat styling and environmental pollution by deep-conditioning your hair on a regular basis. This will help replenish lost moisture and keep locks shiny and resilient.

Steps:

1. Assess your hair's needs and the time you have available. Different formulas offer different levels of conditioning, and treatment time can range from 2 to 60 minutes.

2. Select a formula that best suits you, then consult your stylist to insure that the conditioner you've chosen will not interfere with your color treatment.

3. Shampoo your hair. Towel dry, absorbing all excess moisture.

4. Place a quarter-size amount of conditioner in the palm of your hand. Use more conditioner for longer hair.

5. Rub hands together gently to distribute conditioner.

6. Begin at the hairline and apply conditioner from forehead to ends. Comb through hair for even distribution, applying a little extra to the ends of long tresses.

7. Massage scalp and relax for the time indicated.

8. Rinse thoroughly and style as usual.

Tips:

For a quick deep-conditioning in the shower, gently squeeze any excess water from your hair and distribute the conditioner evenly throughout your hair. Shave your legs or suds your body to give the conditioner time to work.

For a spa-like experience, light a candle and draw a bath prior to the application of conditioner. Clip your hair up or tuck it under a shower cap and relax in the tub for 20 minutes.
