I have long black asian hair, and I need to bleach it until it's pale blonde to dye it all. Where exactly do I start? Do I begin with the underlayer? Section my hair off? Mash it all in? Do I use foil? A shower cap? Heat it with a hairdryer? I've bleached before, but not on this scale. All I know is to wait to do the roots last.
Any other tips and techniques would be helpful. Pictures would be a godsend. Thanks.
Oh, and I'm using Manic Panic 40 vol kit, will this burn as much as drugstore bleach? Or should I go for Jerome Russell or Nutrisse or anything else?

Ooh, what color are you dyeing it? I bet it'll look cute.
I would go to a professional if I were you.
It's really easy to damage your hair when you bleach it all if you're not really careful.
It takes a long time to put dye in the hair for most people... and since you have long hair, it's probably even more hard. And that will probably make your hair different shades because some dye will be on a lot longer.
You can just go to the salon to get it bleached, and then do the other color by yourself.
It shouldn't be too much.
Good luck! :)

Manic panic 40 vol will give you the best lift, but you might need two packages if your hair is long. This product does have some burning so do your roots last and if possible do not put directly on your scalp. Have a friend help you to make sure you cover every piece of hair.

You might damage your beautiful Asian hair if you attempt a DIY. Please go to a salon.
Observe how they do it. At least the 2nd time you decide to dye your hair, you already have tricks of the trade :)
