What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

I alway thought asian had the best hair. Its really straight and long.

Whats your opinion?

:)

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

asian hair is all the same color, though

I think black women have the neatest and some of the most creative hairstyles

white people have the most variations of color and texture, which would make for most interesting hair

as for best hair? whoever takes the time to fix their hair, regardless of ethnicity

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

I'm Asian, and I agree. hehehe...Other nationalities have straight hair too, but mostly Asians have it.

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

Mexicans have great hair

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

I agree. Asians generally have hair that is straight and of perfect consistency...not to thick or thin.

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

European decent has the greatest hair to work with by far!

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

Asian of course....

But I like caucasian that have many colour.

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

Asian hair is nice, but, it can also be very slick. My hair was a nightmare for an up-do for my sister's wedding. I (along with my younger daughter) get compliments all the time, but, our hair has drawbacks like anyone else.

I don't think that just one ethnic group has the best hair.

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

Im Mexican and I do not agree with us having the best hair since there are many types. Some Latinas do have that thick long hair, I dont, mines is curly and can poof up.

What Ethnic Group has the best hair?

I think every ethnic group has beautiful hair in their own way. It may vary among groups but there are similarities. Not all asians have long straight hair, some have wavy, thick or fine hair just like any causian. Although I'm not too familiar with black-african natural hair... I think it depends how you style it as well. People with black hair (could be Black-AFricans or Asian) looks good in almost any coloured hair dye... when it grows out they don't need to re-dye the roots b/c it still looks good. I'm a fan of black hair, and curly, straight, dreads, and between.

People can style any way they want so kind of hard to say which is better. I'm asian btw.

Best hair?

I've been thinking about getting a haircut at the end of December, when my hair gets a little longer. I am into the layers, bangs, etc. that most teenage girls have now. I want to try something new, also considering coloring my hair. I've had black hair all my life. What do you think would be a good hairstyle/color for an asian girl w/ thick-ish hair? And a good, but not too expensive hair straightener? Oh I was also wondering is there any way I could get my hair thinner, like the traditional hair most Japanese, Vietnamese, etc, have now?

Best hair?

http://www.visual-makeover.com/face.htm

that site should answer youre q's. you should first work out what face shape you are, search sites on the net for more info. theres no point in following fashion if it doesnt suit you.if you have a high forhead then get a bang.

i think brown streaks through your hair would be nice, or even thin light blonde streaks to contrast, red would work too.

Your hair dresser will thin out your hair for you and a big flat-shaped hair straightener will work best.

Best hair?

ask your hairdresser to thin your hair, and as for the colour streaks of red or blonde through it.

and a good straightener brand is babyliss.

Best hair?

1st off, get your hair colored like a dark brownish color. it'll probably be best for asians[like me]. getting a haircut would probably be pretty cute too. ask to get it long layered and thinned. a good hair straightener would be the bedhead straightener by tigi. it works pretty good, and its not that expensive. good luck!

Best hair?

try a scene hairstyle

http://www.hair.becomegorgeous.com/newes...

heres some samples of girl scene hair

i dont like most of them on there

Best hair?

color you hair a dark reddy brown and a good straightener is deffinatly a NANO-silver

What happens if i wash off the hair dye earlier than the prescribed time?

i'll be using a DIY hair color kit. i have black asian hair and it will be my first time to color. i bought a mahogany color but i think its too red for me. if i wash the dye off early, will i get just a tinge of color? (that's what i'm going for..)

What happens if i wash off the hair dye earlier than the prescribed time?

if it's a permanent color then you'll have to mix 2 chemicals together.

the developer (sometimes called peroxide) works for the first 20-30 minutes to lift out your natural haircolor; then the color gets deposited into the hair for the next 15 minutes (it depends on how long it's supposed to be left on. different manufacturers have different times to leave the color on)

you could end up with a tinge of color - you could also end up with all kinds of different colors because the color doesn't penetrate as well on some parts as it does others (hair close to the scalp developes faster because of the heat of the head)

here's my suggestion:

do a strand test on a swatch of hair in the back (under all your other hair) close to the occipital bone (the one that sticks out in the back of your head). wrap it with aluminum foil for the correct time on the package. once it's done shampoo, condition and blowdry to check the color out. you might just want to do hilites with the color around your face so it's not TO different.

red color molecules are the biggest there are so it fades more quickly than any other color.

What happens if i wash off the hair dye earlier than the prescribed time?

Yes. Sometimes, it actually washes everything off.

What happens if i wash off the hair dye earlier than the prescribed time?

if it is a temporary color this will work but if it is a permenant color you could end up with a very weird shade.

What happens if i wash off the hair dye earlier than the prescribed time?

Yes. Just wash it off about five minutes before, and rinse with hot water. But remember, it WILL fade much faster, as reds/mahoganies fade really fast anyway.

What is the best hair dye brand?

I have natural black asian hair. I want to know what is the best brand out there that you can buy from the stores and

1) it will show up on dark hair

2)and doesn't fade as fast

I don't want to go for bleach because people say it kills your hair.

What is the best hair dye brand?

I would be really careful dyeing dark hair at home if you're going for a blonde look. Black hair+bleach=orange hair. Trust me on this one because it surely happened to me and I had to wear a hat to class. Personally I've had brown, red, blonde, brown with highlights etc. If I go from a dark color to a blondish color I always pay the 40 bucks to have my hair dyed in a salon. Its cheaper to go ahead and do that instead of paying 120 dollars for the nice hair stylist to strip off all of the hair dye on your head and reapply it so you look like YOU instead of Ronald Mcdonald. :-)

What is the best hair dye brand?

I use Bare Essentials. Have all the time. I kinda dye my hair waaay too much and its perfectly fine. My friend recommended it to me, and now Im recommending it.

What is the best hair dye brand?

I love love love Feria by Loreal. I would never use anything else.

What is the best hair dye brand?

well im asian and i have tried revlon before and didnt really change my hair color. then i used garnier fructis for naturally dark hair %26amp;%26amp; i works!

How do you bleach whole head of hair?

I have long black asian hair, and I need to bleach it until it's pale blonde to dye it all. Where exactly do I start? Do I begin with the underlayer? Section my hair off? Mash it all in? Do I use foil? A shower cap? Heat it with a hairdryer? I've bleached before, but not on this scale. All I know is to wait to do the roots last.

Any other tips and techniques would be helpful. Pictures would be a godsend. Thanks.

Oh, and I'm using Manic Panic 40 vol kit, will this burn as much as drugstore bleach? Or should I go for Jerome Russell or Nutrisse or anything else?

How do you bleach whole head of hair?

Dunk your head in chlorox?

How do you bleach whole head of hair?

Ooh, what color are you dyeing it? I bet it'll look cute.

I would go to a professional if I were you.

It's really easy to damage your hair when you bleach it all if you're not really careful.

It takes a long time to put dye in the hair for most people... and since you have long hair, it's probably even more hard. And that will probably make your hair different shades because some dye will be on a lot longer.

You can just go to the salon to get it bleached, and then do the other color by yourself.

It shouldn't be too much.

Good luck! :)

How do you bleach whole head of hair?

Manic panic 40 vol will give you the best lift, but you might need two packages if your hair is long. This product does have some burning so do your roots last and if possible do not put directly on your scalp. Have a friend help you to make sure you cover every piece of hair.

How do you bleach whole head of hair?

I DON'T know, luv. but GOOD QUESTION.

How do you bleach whole head of hair?

the cheapest way is to use chlorox

How do you bleach whole head of hair?

You might damage your beautiful Asian hair if you attempt a DIY. Please go to a salon.

Observe how they do it. At least the 2nd time you decide to dye your hair, you already have tricks of the trade :)

Help! hair style ?

i definatly want the skunk look but then i dont know if i will look good in it.

ive dyed my hair dark brown, and im asian with straight/curly hair.

i want to dye the insides of my hair blonde? and get that skunk look. help! should i do it? or get a different colour then blonde?

Help! hair style ?

the only problem with dying your dark hair blonde, is the maintenance of keeping up with it, which can get expensive, every ones hair that I've colored lighter always goes back to dark because its less maintenance.

Help! hair style ?

it depends what shape ur head is cause if its round then definitely NO

Help! hair style ?

diff than blonde

Help! hair style ?

Well i think that you go should go ahead and do the skunk look but before you do make sure that you imagine the hair style first and ask some of your close friends and see if it really looks good for you.

Help! hair style ?

Why would you dye your hair blonde if you're Asian? Asian people are beautiful black hair. You've just messed up your hair dyeing it brown. Don't let the damage get out of control by dyeing it blonde. It's gonna look really bad.

My advice: Go back to natural black.

Hi i really need advice on home hair relaxing. I have curly caucasian hair and need a reccomended pr

my hair is quite long, caucasian and in fairly good condtion, iv heard its good 2 do some conditioning before relaxing 2 prepare hair, im also having a cut 2morro 2 get rid of split ends prior to relaxing. i need advice on the product to use as i dont have a clue! people hav reccomended uring a product available in boots but its designed for african/asian hair so i am sceptical about its safety as im sure caucasian hair will react differently 2 it. i hav also heard that using a product for children is better 4 hair. also what is lye and no-lye? i dont want 2 do any damage to my hair, well i know that relaxing alters the hairs structure but i cant go on having curly hair, it really gets me down and i no longer feel comfortable going out as its so unruly. i long for straight hair and if anyone can help me, with advice and reccomending what i can use. i must stress that i cant afford a salon treatment!!! iv read of people sucsessfully using home kits. any help would be great. thanx!!! x

Hi i really need advice on home hair relaxing. I have curly caucasian hair and need a reccomended preduct?

I have extremely curly hair and I would suggest you think long and hard before straightening. No matter if you do it yourself or have it professionally done, straightening your hair will cause it to break more easily and get more split ends. You also need to take into account how fast your hair grows. If you are not able to afford a salon to straighten your hair you need to factor up the cost of straightening it yourself every few months. I must also stress that if your hair is really curly even the expensive Japanese straighteners may not take all the curl out. I used something called Simply Straight that I found at Target. It helped to relax my hair, but did not take all of the curl out. It helped to make it more manageable.

Hi i really need advice on home hair relaxing. I have curly caucasian hair and need a reccomended preduct?

just get it done at a salon to avoid problems.

Hi i really need advice on home hair relaxing. I have curly caucasian hair and need a reccomended preduct?

Don't do it!! You will regret it!! It breaks down your hair so much that you will not be able to do anything with it. A good straightening iron is what you need. There are plenty of other ways to straighten your hair without tediously using a straightener. Get hair magazines and research on line. You will thank me later.

Simple yet classy/cute hair styles?

i know i know, this question has been asked so many times! but i was wondering if there was a perfect hairstyle out there =]. okay so i'm an asian girl with black hair that goes about 3 inches past my shoulder and i have sidebangs that go down to my jaw (no not the chin, the jaw). i'm just wondering if you guys know any cute hairstyles that i could wear to school? thanks so much!

and please, no random and crazy hairstyles like afro puffs or ponytails sticking out like antennas. hah oaky thanks soooo muchhh!!!%26lt;3

happy holidaysé–³?br>Simple yet classy/cute hair styles?

How about a classic "pageboy" hairstyle (hair turned under)that you can also flip up when you are feeling frisky and flirty. One of my favorite actresses, who I also think was one of the most beautiful women in the world ever, had this hairstyle. Her name was Natalie Wood (she's deceased) and if you go to this website you can judge for yourself:

http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im...

You could print out the page and bring it to the salon.

Good luck !

Gold dress, How should I do my makeup and hair for prom?????

How can I create volume in my hair without a curling iron?

I have straight asian hair. Sometimes, I want to spice it up and put some volume in it..like curls or waves. Can I achieve this look without the use of curling irons? Is there some sort of hair product that I can use?

How can I create volume in my hair without a curling iron?

Lol my best friend has this same problem. When u get out of the shower towel ur hair so that it isn't dripping wet. Then put either gel or scrunching mouse in ur hand and scrunch it throughout ur hair. If ur hair doesn't curl easily i would use both. U might try to grab a fist of hiar (to scrunch it) and hair spray it too. Then blow dry it as ur still scrunching it (grabbing fist fulls of hair) I haven't seen anybody this hasn't worked on before so i hope it works for u as well! Good luck!

How can I create volume in my hair without a curling iron?

Use voluming shampoo, or conditioner. I thjink sunsilk or Garnier has some Hope this helps :)

How can I create volume in my hair without a curling iron?

Moose, then blow dry upside down

How can I create volume in my hair without a curling iron?

When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair so that it's not dripping, comb it out, wet it a little bit if combing it dries it some, then take some gel, run it through your hair and scrunch it with your hands

How can I create volume in my hair without a curling iron?

with asian hair, it is so straight you need some type of heat for it to stay wavy....instead of curling irons, you could try hot rollers. these are more gentle on the hair. make sure you use a volumizing shampoo and only condition the ends of your hair.....then use a thermal setting spray, this will protect from the heat and help to set the waves, put the rollers in....when you put the ones on the top of your head, make sure to pull your hair straight up, then roll down, this will give you the max volume when you take them out.

good luck, hope this helps.

How can I create volume in my hair without a curling iron?

yeah :)

you should use a volumizing

or root lifting shampoo + conditioner,

then use volumizing or curl enhancing

mousse.

try herbal essences body envy shampoo,

conditioner and hairspray, and totally twisted

curl scrunching mousse.

style your hair when it's wet,

use a diffuser (or comb with fingers + air dry)

hope that helps :)

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

Because I saw a lot of Asian people straighten their hair w/o heat protection... o___O

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

No. It's never okay. Their hair might be quite damaged even though I've noticed that a lot of Asian people's hair is really shiny. It's because they eat so vegetables and rice. Always use heat protection. They're made for a reason. To protect your hair from heat.

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

who cares about all of that!! if you straighten your hair, your hair falls out! so dont do it if you dont wanna be BALD!!

truuuuuuuuuuuuuuust meeeeeeeeeeeee l:B3))))))

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

Its fine, but it will damage it more... I suggest using protection

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

your hair will get burnt that is all

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

You should always have some type of protection on your hair when you are straightening your hair. Like a serum or cream or mousse you can use.

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

its ok but your hair will dry out

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

its fine. but too much will damage your hair

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

they could have had something in it alrealy and no it's not ok to falt iron your hair with out any protectent in your hair

it canand will damge your hair in the long run

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

I don't a lot of the time and it doesn't hurt anything...but I use a good conditioner. Sometimes I use a heat spray. I like Herbal Essences a lot or Bio Silk works good too. It is probably wise to use one if you can. It will keep your hair from breaking.

Is it okay to straighten your hair without heat protection?

Asian people don't have to straighten their hair, we already have shiny stick straight hair naturally.

I want to dye my hair white highlight??

im asian i have black hair how do i dye my hair with white highlight color?

I want to dye my hair white highlight??

I think the only way to make your hair actually white is to bleach it to a really really light platinum blond, and then use a white toner to take out the remaining yellowish colour and make it white.

What hair style should i get? my hair is black?

I have a face shape thats between a heart and oval.

I have asian hair and I wanted to get it cut, but i dont know what i should get. Im really up for anything, as long as its not TOO short like past my ears. I was maybe even thinking of a edgy look but idk cause its not really my personality. So then i was thinking of maybe just getting it layered.

I have bangs right now.

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

So, I bought the chilled plum color. On the box for the very dark brown swatch, it's a dark plum color, barely noticeable. But I have really dark brown hair which everyone says it's black, but if I observe it under light, it's brown. Asian hair. I heard that color pulse doesn't work on black hair. I just wanted subtle highlights. help?

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

i used that stuff and i didnt see a diffrence. other people said that it looked alittle purpal, but not much. i washed out in like a week and a half.

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

hi, i was thinking about buying the same color and i have black asian hair. i was wondering how it worked out for you. i appreciate the feedback. Report It

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

My sister has darker hair and she tried it too. It doesn't work as good. :[ Good luck!

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

you can do it!!!

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

if your hair is black or anything dark then try to get a bright color like blond but if u choose to use plum or anything dark it wont show up, i know this through personal experience.

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

typically with dark brown hair (especially if people say it looks black) boxed hair color is not going to work. you need to go to a professional.

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

try a glaze for brunettes. it brings out the subtle highlights of darker hair.

L'oreal color pulse and dark brown/black hair?

I used the chilled plum in my hair once. I used it about ten months ago and it came out really bright purple. Not only that, but the box says it's supposed to wash out in about two weeks and my hair is still purple. VERY faded, but it's still there. It'll probly work fine on your hair.

Highlights in black hair?

Well I'm wondering if to get highlights or not. I have black asian hair %26amp; I'm thinking maybe red or electric blue.

What do you think?

Highlights in black hair?

Veins of Platinum Blonde, Oatmeal, or Chocolate Brown look good with Asian Hair.

Highlights in black hair?

ooohh electric blue would be awsome.

Highlights in black hair?

either one of those ussually look really great in black hair. . .but you should be careful. the highlights will need to be bleached before the color is added, so it could really damage your hair. if you are one hundred percent sure that it's what you want, go to a decent salon. that way there should be slightly less damage done to your hair than if you do it yourself or go to a cheap salon.

(i love the red)

Highlights in black hair?

A mixture of green and blue would be best

Highlights in black hair?

eltric blue. no blonde at all. red would look kinda weird my friend did that and it looks ugly. not a lot of light colors you could do a deep purple with hints of blue. but dont go dying all of you hair! or you would look bad.

Highlights in black hair?

Yeah of course you should get highlights.I use have red highlights and I have black hair.

Highlights in black hair?

i like the eletric blue idea. im sure itll look great.

Highlights in black hair?

yeahh blueee looks amazing :) a guy I know had it. It looks good on black. personally I think better thanm red x

What is the hair trend for 2007???

I have long straight asian hair and i don't wanna dye it or perm it.

What is the hair trend for 2007???

Long and straight, yeah good choice not dying it or perming it. Get regular, solid bangs;;side bangs were in way back. Yeah solid bangs is good, especially on Asians. Also, celebrities are doing it like Nelly Furtado.

What is the hair trend for 2007???

long long hair is a major trend right now, like to the midsection.

What is the hair trend for 2007???

get a nice haircut to frame ur face

dont go with trends though. use them as guidelines but see for example bangs are the trend right now but if they dont look good on your face shape, trendy as they are, they are wrong for you. see i got bangs too..wont say they look atrocious but i got sick of themm so now i am trying to grow them out. i had long hair got sick of it cut it short now i feel this short is too short and want a bit longer....its a neverending cycle....lol

dont die or perm it....looks fake and straight hair is most manageable and always in style...

What is the hair trend for 2007???

hello.well my race is wearing short hairstyles to me it make u look jazzy.maybe try a bob.wear it in updos.

What is the hair trend for 2007???

What is hot right now is layerd hair with long sweepy bangs, and luckily you are asian and have nice thick hair, thick hair looks very nice with layers and nice long bangs just sweeping past the eyebrows cut slightly at a angle.

What is the hair trend for 2007???

long, mermaid waves definatley

What is the hair trend for 2007???

Major (body) hair problem!! need help fast?

ok, so people go around saying 'oh, asians have it so easy! they have no leg hair, or arm hair!'

unfortunately for me, i AM asian, and i have that hair! not necessarily from puberty, but i've had it ever since i could remmeber! i have it on my upper arms, lowever arms, calvesl thighs and lower back! it's not noticable in the camera... but since i have dark hair and pale skin, you can easily see all that gross hair. i've heard it could be a medical condition to have so much hair, or that i'm not eating enough, so the hair grew as an extra layer. either way, i need help to get rid of it! mostly in the areas where i'm not SUPPOSED to have hair... (upper thighs and upper arms) i've tried masking tape to rip it off - it worked, but it grew back, and i've tried tweezing, which took forever and is sort of painful. plus, my mom won't even let me SHAVE my legs because we assumes i have no hair, and that the more asians shaves, the larger and darker the pores and hair follicles get.HELP

Major (body) hair problem!! need help fast?

omg i am just like you! well i'm allowed to shave my legs...

i've only shaved my arms two or three times in my life and quit because the problem just got worse. SO. GET A FULL BODY WAX (quite expensive but after a few treatments you can kiss your problem goodbye!)

Major (body) hair problem!! need help fast?

If you seriously have a lot of hair, then I think you should go to the doctors. But if it's just more than most asians, then I would just suggest to use Nair. It's really easy to use, and it works really good. You can buy it at Walgreens,Target, WalMart, any of those types of stores.

Major (body) hair problem!! need help fast?

It sounds to me that you might be either Japanese or Okinawan--hence the excess body hair.

It is not true that if you shave that the hair gets thicker. I have been shaving my body for over 10 years, and there is absolutely no difference with I grow my hairs for over a month as compared to when I started. I personally do not feel "clean" about body hair--on me and on women.

As for hair removal methods, I might suggest Nair. Just text it on a small area first, as in some people it causes irritation.

Hope this helps. Best of luck to you!!

Major (body) hair problem!! need help fast?

u should wax it

Major (body) hair problem!! need help fast?

When you wax your hair numerous times, the hair follicle gets damaged and sometimes the hair won't grow back, hence the problem some women get with their eyebrows looking too thin. Waxing will be the least expensive way to keep the hair off longer. And... eventually the hair may grow in a little bit thinner. Shaving causes the hair to have a blunt end that makes it look thicker when it grows out. It's not actually thicker, it's just blunt and not tapered the way natural hair is. I wouldn't shave because you'd have to shave every day or every other day. How tiring! Either wax it or go to a laser hair removal place. If your mom won't let you shave, I don't know how she'd feel about taking you to a laser hair removal technician though...

Bad hair hair hair day everyday?

Bad hair hair hair day everyday?

Read the book and visit the site below about curly/wavy hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your wavy hair- be happy for life! The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent. They dry out curly hair. Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt are all that is needed. Then spread conditioner on outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. It is also important to use gel on wet hair and scrunch the hair. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least the website. Good luck!

How to get this layered hair?

I really want layers like Emily Osment's here:

http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m95/K...

But I want a clear picture. Can anyone help me?

The episode is called "Bye Bye Ball" from Hannah Montana.

And what are some cheap but really good products to make my hair soft, silky, %26amp; straight like her's?

I have thick, stubborn, Asian hair (that's straight but has natural dents) so products have to be REALLY good! WEBSITE LINKS WILL HELP!!

IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY DON'T EVEN MENTION IT!

How to get this layered hair?

Hi, You could get the hair stylist to thin out your hair and put long layers in your hair.. There is also a shampoo and conditioner call Sleek Look. Its only available in salons. I think its a matrix product. It smells aw some and makes your hair silky. You will really like it.

How to get this layered hair?

Just ask your hairdresser for long layers .

Thats how my hair is like too.

Will Carol's Daughter products be good for my hair?

I've seen a lot of advertising for Carol's Daughter and know that they sell it at Sephora. I was looking for a good leave-in conditioner for my hair and since Carol's Daughter is a little more affordable than the other high-quality brands, I was thinking of giving it a shot, but I was wondering if it would be OK for my hair? I am asian. My hair is pretty straight. It's normal-fine but I have a lot of it. Would any of the three Carol's Daughter leave-in conditioners work for me?

I've used the Jonathan Leave-in Hair Gloss and HATED it. It does not detangle my hair as well as I want it to unless I use A LOT of it. I've also tried the Oscar Blandi Jasmine Protein Spray. I was satisfied but was wondering if anything was better. If Carol's Daughter isn't good for me, I'm open to any other suggestions. Thanks!

Will Carol's Daughter products be good for my hair?

never heard of it sorry can't help....

Will my hair turn green?

I'm thinking of getting my tips done blue but with my black asian hair I would have to bleech it first. Someone told me you can't get white dye so i'll have to bleach it blonde first before i can add the blue, but when i add the blue will it turn green?

Will my hair turn green?

nope

Will my hair turn green?

nope

Will my hair turn green?

If the bleach is left on long enough, it will make your tips white. If you don't leave it on long enough, it'll come out kind of orange, not good. Putting the blue dye on the orange will not have the best color effect. Blue on the white will be okay. As the blue fades, it will turn some not-as-cute shades of purpley, periwinkle, and sometimes even greenish. But, if you make sure to use shampoo for color treated hair, and re-apply the blue when it starts to fade you should be okay

Will my hair turn green?

it depends on the blue. Is it a light blue? dark blue? do you want just an average blue, or u dont really care? id choose a dark blue because if it does change color it is less likely to change dramatically.

Will my hair turn green?

why would it turn green? if your stylist knows what they're doing, they won't mess up and it'll turn out good.

I'm cutting my hair and I need hairstyle suggestions?

I cut my hair into a buzz cut last September and has let it grown since then. Now it's about 3-4 inches long, all around.

I am asian with straight black hair, kind of like my avatar.

I'm looking to trim it a bit, maybe even cut some. Give me some suggestions, preferably with pictures.

Also, I don't want to cut it down to a buzz cut again.

I'm cutting my hair and I need hairstyle suggestions?

Greasy hair?

i am asian with long black hair which is quite greasy, any natural remedy for it plz?

Greasy hair?

I found a great website with natural remedies for your greasy hair. THey are recipes to make your own hair products.

Have fun

Peace

GG

Greasy hair?

Use a clarifying shampoo

Greasy hair?

try finding special shampoo for it

Greasy hair?

Theres a dry shampoo available from most Chemists and Superdrug stores its called Batiste and it is fantastic x

Greasy hair?

you could wash it every 3 days with a shampoo made for frequent use, thats what i have to do.

Greasy hair?

coco nut oil

Greasy hair?

dont use any conditioners and try blowdrying your hair every day.

Greasy hair?

Use a good clarifying shampoo once a week in place of your regular shampoo. I really like Herbal Essences Drama Clean (don't get the conditioner though, it's terrible for your hair). =)

Greasy hair?

There are special shampoos you can get. Also, if you're in a rush and your hair isn't wet, baby powder works very well. The tulcum powder obsorbs oil, and almost completely gets rid of the grease. Hope this helps =)

Greasy hair?

it depends if u want it to be less greasy:

then u must wash it out and use moose instead to make it be still shiny but not greasy

Greasy hair?

No conditioner. Use a shampoo for normal to greasy hair.

Greasy hair?

Well the obvious answer is to just wash it every morning and night but also if you put a LITTLE bit of baby powder at your roots where its greasy and pat it in to blend in with your hair it will absorb the greasyness. I have had to do this when i didnt have time to wash it.

Greasy hair?

Maybe ur washing ur hair too often? Washing hair too often (more than every 2nd day) will strip ur hair of its natural chemicals and make it greasy.

Try Batiste dry shampoo. Also make sure its not cos ur subconsciously playing with ur hair all the time...

Greasy hair?

I know this probally won't help but let me just say that i am soooo jealous of you! I have fried up dry hair and have to grease it up every hour! If you ever want to trade give me a call!

Greasy hair?

ask ur hairdresser!

they can help u out......

stop using conditioner!!!!!

Greasy hair?

go into a high end department store like nordstrums, saks, neiman marcus etc, and look for Kiehls. They make all natural shampoos that are so much better for you than the crap they sell in drug stores. they have all natural ingrediences and have different shampoos and conditionars for oily, normal or dry hair. The oily shampoo and conditionars they make, healthily and gently strip your hair of oils to make it look a lot healther and less greasy.

Greasy hair?

baby powder. simply sprinkle baby powder on your hair rub it around, shake your hands through you hair to get the rest out just run your brush through. another thing that you should do is lay off the conditioner, don't put conditioner on your roots, or scalp. only wash your hair every other day or more if you can. but between your next washing you can baby powder to soak up the oils in your hair, and freshen it up. Good luck! :)

Greasy hair?

Try washing it maybe once every two days, and only condition it every other time that you wash it. Make sure you're using shampoo and conditioner that is for greasy hair.

Greasy hair?

If you are in your teens to twenties then the body will produce more oils due to puberty. Use a shampoo that is specifically formulated for greasy hair and has gentle cleansers such as neutrogena. Make sure when washing, your water is lukewarm and not too hot as this will stimulate the glands to produce more oil. Don't use conditioners that are too heavy, again neutrogena products are good. Other products like mousse, sprays etc can cause a build up in the hair and drag it down making it look greasy and lank avoid these and finally don't rub your hair dry, pat it gently, then if you allow it to dry by 80% naturally it will style quickly and easily with a quick blast of the hairdryer holding it

not too close to the head as again this will stimulate the glands. hope this helps!

Greasy hair?

if you put baby poweder in it it will be fine

Greasy hair?

Washing your hair in too hot water and also scrubbing it will stimulate the sebaceous glands even more and they will produce even more sebum (oil). Both of these things seem the obvious thing to do to get greasy hair clean when they actually add to the problem.

So try using cooler water and rub your hair gently. It should help.

Talc is a good emergency method for those days when the alarm clock doesn't go off!

Greasy hair?

Hi what type of shampoo are you using at the moment, it could be the shampoo you are using or the conditoner, I have read that people who have greasy hair dont need to apply conditoner to the scalp or length of the hair just the ends.

So maybe try this if you use conditioner that is,

Have you tried lush products below is a shampoo bar that is suppose to be for oily hair, I have used the products for my dry hair and in the shampoo bar they are brilliant, They are strange if you havent used them before but they are really easy and are alot quicker too.

They are natural and have no chemicals in them either so they are really really good for the hair, oh and there not tested on animals either, Squeaky green is also environmentally friendly too.

Greasy hair?

use sauve shampoo and lemon juice from home

Would side swept bangs work on thin hair?

hii, i'm getting a haircut tomorrow, and i think i'd like to get bangs this time (right now my hair's just long and straight, with a bit of layers. nothing special) i'm thinking of getting side swept bangs with layers, and i heard that looks good on circular faces (which i have) except, being asian, i have thin hair. would the bangs STAY erm, "side swept?" or would they fall back straight if i get them? i dont like blow drying my hair or basically doing anything to it other then washing it. would that be the best look? or does this only work with people with thicker hair?

Would side swept bangs work on thin hair?

It would work fine with your hair. They cut it so the bangs stay too the side. I actually think it looks better on people with thinner hair.

Would side swept bangs work on thin hair?

i've seen asians with sideswept bangs, and they stay put pretty well. however, [i'm not sure, this is just a guess] I think they use hairspray %26amp; stuff to keep it in place, but I wouldn't know because I don't use any hair products myself...

but just get the haircut, and if it doesn't stay sideswept i guess you could always tie it back normally or however you usually do your hair.

How do I get my hair shiny?

I dye my hair black, but its kinda dried out from being dyed so much. Is there anything I can do to make my hair soft and shiny? Like how Asian girls hair is...its gorgeous!

How do I get my hair shiny?

well, u see, the reason why asian girls like me have shiny hair is because the hair is purely straight. i have permed my hair when i was little though, and it seems less shiny.

however, if u want shiny hair, use a good conditioner that treats dry and frizzled hair. after u shower, try not to blow-dry your hair too much, or the hair will lose water. u can spray it so that the hair stays shiny together.

do not use tight hair bands or tight clips on your hair. it can damage it and give some frayed strands. do not twist it too much either or use iron curlers, as they give extreme heat that can damage hair as well.

How do I get my hair shiny?

Add a little vinegar to your conditioner to get all of the bulid up off next time you shampoo.. And then when you rinse use ICE COLD water. It will shine.

How do I get my hair shiny?

Using a Clear color rinse will help your hair to shine. Try a demi-color(Color Charm by Wella) or a Jazzin brand.

How do I get my hair shiny?

Boil tea leaves in water. Pour the tea water on your hair after you washed it. Take care, pour only after it has cooled down ;)

How do I get my hair shiny?

Try a clear glaze to coat your hair strands. I know Clairol makes a clear one, you could probably find it in drugstores.

You could also use shine products- Apply shine serum to your hair when it's wet (the best time to apply product, because hair get frizzy as it dries because the moisture is sucked out into the air), or a shine spray.

If your hair is really dry, do a deep conditioning mask about once a week or every couple of weeks. If you are really ambitious, try a hot oil mask! The brand Vo5 makes a classic one.

And remember, always condition your hair every time you shower. It fills in rough patches and porous areas of your hair strands, making them stronger and protecting it against breakage and damage. Since your hair seems dry, try a leave-in conditioner as well. Apply it mid-hair shaft to the tips when your hair is wet.

In general, avoid applying hair product to your roots because it'll only make them look greasy! And I hate to say this, but the only real way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off. Do it before the breakage travels all the way up to your crown.

Good luck! (:

Shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?

I have "typical" asian hair, which is basically straight. It's long (more than halfway down my back) and is pretty healthy, but I do have a few bad split ends. Frizz can be a problem for me, but only on rainy days (which is pretty often, in Florida). I have some body waves (where it hits my neck/shoulders) and I like them, so i'm not looking into straightening formulas. I don't straighten or chemically change my hair - just wash and go. No dandruff, and it doesn't get too greasy. It's in pretty good condition overall...

I'm aiming for a less than $5 price range (where I can buy it at Wal-mart or Target), but i'm looking to try something new. OH and I don't want something that smells TOO strong... I like fresh/fruity scents.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?

use garnier fructis it keeps your hair smooth and silky and it smells fruit and fresh! i use it every day it works for me =]

Shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?

pantene

Shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?

I would say try either anti-frizz formulas or if you want more body a volumizing formula. I like using garnier, which has a fruity smell, or there is sunsilk or herbal essences, but you aren't really limited to those, there are other cheaper brands that can work just as well a lot of the times. The best bet, is to do a little experiment, try a brand and if you don't like it try another until you find the perfect one that works best for you. Everyone has their own preferences and also different products that their hair reacts better to.

Hope this info helps, good luck.

Shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?

Use Sun-Silk in the teal bottle it's if you have no hair problems. Never use Pantene my hairstylist told me it's the worst thing to use on hair because it just coats the hair with a wax like substance. She found out about it at beauty school and they actually took a razor blade and scraped it along the hair and white build-up started flaking off!! Gross!! Anyways I use Sun-silk and love it, it smells good too!! Hope this helped!!

Bi racial hair?

I'm a single dad of a bi racial child (asian/black). My daughter's hair is very curly. When I comb her hair in the morning, I spray it with water or a detangler and put it in a pony tail. Obviously, I need to learn other styles, but when I pick her up from school, her hair is all over the place. What kind of products can I use to make her more softer and manageable?

Bi racial hair?

This website should help you. http://www.treasuredlocks.com/biracial-h...

Bi racial hair?

You could try a leave in conditioner spray ..like Aussie

Bi racial hair?

put a moisterizing hair lotion in her hair. Also curl tamers work really well. plus practice braiding

Bi racial hair?

Motions for kids is a great line of products for any type of african american hair. its what i use on my daughter. That and Redkin Shampoo and cond.

Bi racial hair?

cholesterol treatments

coconut oil

castor oil

biolage shining milk

joico kpak line products shampoo and conditioner

a wide tooth comb to comb her hair when its wet

never brush when its dry

small elastics to make little ponytails u can braid them or take a small section and twist it to make cute twisties

their is a pic of my daughters hair on my blog after i braided her hair

Bi racial hair?

use a hair straightener and then after that lightly wet it to make it stay. To be extra safe you could use a all day conditioner after that or hair spray.

Bi racial hair?

Children's hair is very tricky. You don't want to use a lot of different products in her hair. I would suggest wearing it in a lot of pony tails. I would say atleast 20-25. You can plait them and put pretty barrettes on the end of them. I have a daughter that has the same type of hair and when I pick her up it is still the same except for the occassional missing barrette.

Bi racial hair?

pantene conditioner.

Bi racial hair?

My sisters hair is like that (wish i had it too, lol) and my mom had a hard time keeping it together as well. The best thing to do is to go to a hair salon and have them do it and ask what to do to keep it nice. Water is never a good choice for mixed race hair in my experience with my sister, its like a quick fix, lol. Pressing combs work to keep it straight. Stay away from perms, could damage it. But your best bet is a pressing comb and a flat iron, used with a little bit of oil sheen. Wash, blow dry, then flat iron works for my sister. Just remember it should be good for a few days, heat on the hair everyday is BAD.

Hope this helps, but you should try a salon, probably with a black stylist.

Bi racial hair?

here's the catch every ones hair is different....my friend uses palm made (a little goes a LONG WAY!) and it's beautiful her hair stays all day it also worked for mine which was amazing because i have flat straight hair that never stays but with this stuff it did....or any of the bed head products they all seem to work very well! best of luck to you! oh PS try braiding her hair too it's not too hard i promise!

Bi racial hair?

Suave Kids Smoothers 2 in 1 Shampoo (it comes in 3 different scents, have your daughter choose her favorite), Suave Kids Go Go Grape Conditioner when she takes a shower. Then when her hair is still wet spray it with Suave Kids Awesome Apple Detangling Spray and gently comb out the ends. Then in the morning spray her hair with the detangler again and put her hair in a ponytail.

All of these products work amazingly to detangle and smooth out hair to make it soft and manageable. You can look at the products here:

http://www.suave.com/products.aspx?coll=...

http://www.suave.com/products.aspx?coll=...

Bi racial hair?

When my daughter was growing up, we started using Johnson%26amp;Johnsons No More Tangles detangler spray. I used a regular hair brush (with bristles) and sprayed her hair when it was wet. Then I put a part in it (if the hairstyle needed one), then I made separations in the hair and twisted her hair. You take two sections and use the brush as you twist them around each other. I twisted all the way to the ends (which were usually quite damp with the spray) and then let the hair dry. Her hair stayed twisted all day and would only need a touch up for the next day. She does her own hair now and still wears it twisted sometimes. Another thing you can do is take her to a black hair salon and get her hair done in "Twisties"%26gt; These are twists close to the head. If your daughter is like mine, braids won't hold, so you have to find an alternative. At times with my daughter, we used "Pink Lotion" but the regular kind was too heavy for her hair. There is a lighter version that we used from time to time. Her grandmother (white grandmother) used V05 about once a week in her hair, but we did not use it every day.

There is a conditioner that you can find at WalMart. It is green (because it has Aloe in it) and comes in a jar. It's a really good conditioner to use (not too heavy for mixed hair). I found it online, it's called "Lustrasilk Cholesterol Creme Conditioner Super Detangling Formula w/Aloe Vera" and you can get it at WalMart in the black hair care section. The only problem I think you might face is helping your daughter condition her hair. When my little one was about 4 and 5, she had almost waist-long hair (when it was wet). We either had to wash/condition her hair in the shower (which she hated and which usually SOAKED me!) or the tub. When I'd lay her down in the tub to get her hair wet, it was so heavy that she couldn't lift herself up - I had to lift her! :) When she was 6, she got her hair cut for the first time to shoulder length. Now she keeps it at shoulder length and most of the time wears large braids (which she does herself).

Keep asking for help. I always found people willing to assist. :) Good luck!!! :)

Bi racial hair?

Other styles are picktails and braids and buns well go to a hair store and but no frizz gel or spray

good luck!

Bi racial hair?

Rather than pulling it back into 1 ponytail, you might have more luck with creating a number of ponytails and braids. Smaller sections of hair tend to hold better than 1 big one.

Try middle parting her hair and work with 1 side at a time. Collect about 2 inch width of hair at the front/top of her head down to her ear. Pull that tightly into a band that lies against the top part of her head (remember, you are working with 1 half of her head that you middle parted). You can braid this if you want. Otherwise gather all the hair on 1 side much like you do when making her pony tail and make a braid either towards the side of her head or towards the back. Make the braid as tight as you possibly can with each cross over of the braid.Tie the bottom tightly with hair elastic. Repeat the same for the other side of her head. Keep in check each side must be even to the other, so make sure she keeps her head still and looking straight ahead if you can.

If you are no good at braiding, you can make a similar effect by simply tying an elastic then on that same ponytailed piece, an inch down from the elastic tie another one. Then an inch further, tie another one and so on.

It is so difficult to provide written instruction.

Your best bet is to ask a family member from the black side of her family, or anyone black for that matter to show you a simple yet effective hairstyle you can confidently recreate each morning. If this is not possible, consider taking her to hairsalon (Cheap Cuts even, it will only cost a few dollars and may be worth it). Make sure the hairdresser is black too if you can. No one knows hair better than the hair you have yourself I believe. And ask them to show you a style.

Trust me. Anyone you ask to help you with your daughters hair will bend over backwards to help if they can.

The fact you are a single dad responsible for styling your daughters hair each morning - that very thought alone, is one the most beautiful things imagineable if you ask me. Even your question touched my heart, to read of the loving bond between father and daughter is absolutely priceless.

What an amazing father you are.

All the best for you and your little girl.

Bi racial hair?

I have a bi-racial daughter as well and have struggled with this too. I have tried DOZENS of different products and I like the Just for Me line the best. They have a two in one shampoo, and I top that off with a Pantene conditioner. They also have a detangler I use on her after her bi-weekly hair washing(another thing I learned, not to wash her hair more than twice a week unless necessary). They also have a pink lotion that I put in her hair when dry, before I pull it back into a pony tail. The most convenient thing is to keep her hair in braids, now that it is longer, the braids can stay in for up to two weeks without looking messy. I've tried to do them myself, but she won't sit still for me. I'm lucky and have a daycare worker that braids it for me, but if I didnt' have her, it would be worth a trip to the salon once a month to have it done.

From what I've found its a lot of trial and error. I have asked advice before and have found that products that others have referred me to I didn't like for one reason or another. Its also a matter of taste, I've tried products that I just didnt' like the smell, or "residue" that they leave on her hair. But so far the Just for Me line works well, smells nice, etc.

Good luck:-)

Bi racial hair?

Is her hair tightly curled? You will need to put some type of oil in it...it will dry out and frizz out and be everywhere...

Is it loosely curled? You could get a product like frizz ease...you can buy it at the grocery store (where the hair products are) or drug store..

Get a wide toothed comb. You could put it in quarters, like 4 apart, and comb through it gently.

A detangler is a start but it has alcohol in it and long term use will make her hair dry out and be frizzy.

Wash her hair every 3 days with a moisturizing, protein conditioner...

There is so much to say, and I could give you more specific products, but I wish I had some indication of her hair texture..

My father and aunt are both part black, part Asian...my hair is a bit straighter than theirs but only because my mom's hair is straight...she looks white...my sisters and I all have varying textures and it depends on the texture what you use...

My daughter's hair is very curly (tightly curled) like her father's...

Tell me in edit what kind of texture she has...

Bi racial hair?

I am 21 and biracial (black/white) and just learning to care for my natural hair. Because I couldn't control it I would straighten it ( with a chi-iron, the only thing that works). I'll tell you what products I use (and I've tried bookoos, with biracial hair you have to do trial and error). Right now I wash my hair with Pantene for women of color, i deep condition (ALWAYS!) with Pantene intensive repair creme( in a white squeeze tube), and I part it in four even plats, i use lots of optimum therapy leave-in oil moisturizer on each section. one plat at a time,I comb through with a big tooth comb and then follow up with a smaller tooth comb. I then braid the plat as neat and tight as I can without hurting or breaking the hair. After I braid the four braids I let them air dry until the next day(I usually do this before I go to bed.) take it down in the morning and she will have GORGEOUS ringlets as opposed to extremely curly, hard-to-comb-through, unmanageable hair.I get LOTS of compliments. You HAVE to keep moisture in her hair, that's VITAL. You notice how pretty it is when it's wet and conditioned? If you find the right products it can look like that ALL the time and you can manage a lot more styles. If her hair is conditioned correctly you won't care what it looks like because that's one advantage of being biracial, even if our hair isn't combed correctly, with the right products it still looks like "good hair". Check out these websites for additional info. They specialize in biracail hair.

Bi racial hair?

Try cholesterol, perm, a hot comb,or maybe some royal crown grease. Or you could try doing it at the same time it might help but you should only do it about once every one or two weeks. Oh and also you could try braid it to lock moisture and such in and olive oil spray will help too i think.

Bi racial hair?

leave it natural? idk

Bi racial hair?

Mhmm.

Water is a big no for mixed hair.

But try gel. Or Pantene's Pink

Moisturizing Lotion. [[Pink Bottle]]

And try wrapping her hair with

a satin wrap at night to lay it down.

Bi racial hair?

my sisters hair was the same way . she goes to school and it looks perfect and comes home and it looks like poop.one day i went to the hair salon with my sister and they taught me how to do her hair.what you do is you start out with wet hair.lets say you want it in a pony tail.brush it back with a hard bristle brush, then put on a hair band.use a comb and go over the hair again while it is still up in a ponytail.spray some hair spray on the hard bristle brush and go over the ponytail.take out the ponytail and comb it again with a comb. finish it off with leave in conditioner.straighten the bottom

hope i helped

I can barely do my own hair but I have biracail nieces and nephews. I suggest you take your child to a salon that caters to african american. They can help leart how to "do" her hair and the best products to use.

you use all black hair care products, like cream of nature shampoo no alcohol, however, use products with no alcohol and you might want to get her a perm. Take her to the beauty shop so it will be straight and more manigable

Bi racial hair?

it seems to me that the problem is that you feel her hair is unacceptable the way it is and you are trying to make it conform to how you think hair should be. cut it shorter to make it more manageable. excessively treating the hair as if it is a 'problem' i don't think is the right method. your expectations of her hair may not match the hair she was born with. love and accept it. that's my advice.

my stepdaughter has 'bi-racial hair' and so i've been through some of this. acceptance is the best method. trying to make it conform to what you think hair should be will not ever work. because it isn't that kind of hair.

Bi racial hair?

Water is definitely not the answer!!! It will make it poof by the end of the day. Ask one of your Black Female friends (with daughters) in your area who her hair stylist is. Take your daughter to a salon that specializes in Black Hair and ask for help. This way a hair specialist can actually see her texture and show you what to do. Don't let them perm it!!!! Maybe press it though just to make it more manageable for you until she can do it herself.

There are so many different textures of hair among people of color, therefore a million different products work for a million different people %26amp; its difficult to know what works for her. Some people wet their hair daily.... this is a disaster for others. Friz Eaze works for some..... not for many. Take her to a salon that Black women recommend to you %26amp; see what they can do for you.

If they do her hair %26amp; it is manageable for you- take your daughter there every two weeks.

How do i get naturally straight and thin hair?

i straighten my hair. but im afraid it'll damage my hair in the future. really. so how should i have my hair naturally straight? what do i do? i have wavy hair =[[. and alot of asian girls have straight hair. and im only 13

How do i get naturally straight and thin hair?

there is no way to make your hair naturally straight if it is naturally wavy.

How do i get naturally straight and thin hair?

well, they actually have this new type of perm out that instead of curling your hair starightens it! I believe this works for about 6 months, before it starts to grow out, just like a normal perm. I have curly/wavy hair as well and i do straighten my hair, i looked into getting a straight perm but i think, if i remeber correctly, it was a little spendy =[. Hope this helps!

How do i get naturally straight and thin hair?

If you're hair isn't naturally curly, you can't just make it that way.

Can white hair be truned again into black one?

I am a asian boy.My black hair are turning to white day by day while I am only 21years old now.which disease can be its cause?can I get my blck hair again?

Can white hair be truned again into black one?

there is no disease as such its an aging process every1 has to face tht, u can give highlights and may be u can see a trichologist (hair expert), its caused mainly due to less of keratin and using loads of cosmetic stuff which may bleach it.

Can white hair be truned again into black one?

graying hair at a young age is usually hereditary and their is no such product that will make it black again...however you can dye it using Just For Men or some other gray cover-up product

Can white hair be truned again into black one?

Hi friend, don't worry about it. This problem may exist due to lack of vitamins. First thing u have to do is, consult a doctor. He may regularise ur food habits. Then there are some medicines also.

Have enough meditation.

Feel free. Dont have more tension.

Soon u get relieved from this problem.

Can white hair be truned again into black one?

It's hereditary.

Lack of melatonin in the skin, lack of pigments in hair, etc.

You can dye it, but there's really nothing more to do about it. My hair's turning white too, and I'm the same race and age.

Can white hair be truned again into black one?

You white hair, even at your age, will probably be permanent. It is genetics. Some people are gray even earlier. It is possible that your grays may come and go for a while; but, eventually they will be coarse and permanent. Do you look at American Idol. They had a young man on there that was all gray and he was under 30 years old. This is not uncommon, just not seen allot. If it bothers you, just dye it with a non-permanent dye. it will have to be done as often as the roots of your hair grows out.

Is it possible for a guy with short hair to look like he's got style?

I'm asian, fair skin, black hair, and the hair is very short.

I tried to grow my hair long and it really looks aweful so it does not suit me, I can only grow short hair.

Is there any way to make me look stylish with such a plain, nerdy hair?

Thanks.

Is it possible for a guy with short hair to look like he's got style?

haha short hair doesn't mean it's nerdy!

Is it possible for a guy with short hair to look like he's got style?

Have you heard of Prison Break?

Michael Scofield barely has any hair and he looks hotttttt:)

Is it possible for a guy with short hair to look like he's got style?

Long hair you can do so much with ..skinhead style is just skinhead style

Is it possible for a guy with short hair to look like he's got style?

ya, only if you Ive him a makeover lol.

Is it possible for a guy with short hair to look like he's got style?

your hair is not nerdy..............keep your hair short, clean and combed and you carry a smile with it and you will be cool and stylish....

Is it possible for a guy with short hair to look like he's got style?

Your hair is, well your hair.

You don't have to have it long, but you could have it in a unique haircut that shows your character.

You also always have your clothes. Show you care about the way you present yourself by investing in some relaxed but still cool clothes. Don't dress unlike yourself, just start paying a little more detail in the way you dress yourself, seeing as first impressions mean a lot.

Appearance should never be your main focus. It means absolutely nothing if you've got amazing character or brains. But you can show your confidence in the way you present yourself, the people will take notice.

By the way, nerdy hair can be pretty cute. Just got to work with what you've got and learn to play up the best aspects of you.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

I have straight asian hair. That means I have to put massive amounts of gel into my hair for it to listen. Its very course. I want it to be wavy. Any help thanks. I want shaggy, surfer, natural kind of thing. Should I get a perm?

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! Why would anyone want skater hair?

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

You need proper hair care read some hair tips and articles on this site

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

Instead of paying a lot of money for a perm, you could invest in a hair crimper or three barreled curling iron. This will result in a wavy look when you feel like it, and not when you don't!

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

Braid it at night..in the morning you will have wavy hair..but you might need a lot of hairspray to keep it wavy.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

it depends on what gender u are....... if your a guy shave it off if your a girl shave it off anyway then u won't have to worry about it anyway.....

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

dont shampoo or condition your hair, it ads moisture and good texture which can make your hair look very clean and shiny,

Without shampooing or conditoning your hair, it can begin to look very shaggy and waved.

:)

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

I wouldn't get a perm, but ask your stylist to texurize it and break up the heaviness, to give it that shaggy, loose look you want.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

no

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

just shampoo and dry

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

To get the shaggy look you should texturize your hair and razor cut. If you want a small wave you will more than likely have to put a curl in it if you have no natural body. I would try the cut first and then make a decision.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

im asian too but if you want that kinda hair style you should probably either do it yourself (so u know what you want) or go get a pro or get some hair tips lol hope that helps

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

Dude, get the perm, hairdresser can make your hair any way you want it!

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

Go in the ocean and get some nice beachy waves. If the ocean isn't available to you. But some salt in water. And use that in your hair. It'll give you nice beachy waves....well it works on me, but according to what you say we have exact opposite hair types. lol.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

No - no perms- your hair would just be kinky and frizzy. Perms are for little old ladies. Invest in some hot rollers and those bendable curling wand rod things. They are spongy and bendable-you wrap the hair around them. Sorry but I cant think of the name of them.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

put mini waves (permanent) on your hair...it'll last like a year 'n' a half

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

if you do get a perm get the loosest perm your hair dresser offers. the bigger the curlers, the better. i am afraid if you do it any tighter of a perm, it will be small curles instead of waves. good luck.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

Go to an expensive hair place and have them "razor" the edges. Experiment with styling wax or buy a texturizer. It is hard to get used to, but it will work. If you get a perm, get a body wave. "scrunching" the after you apply the product to wet/damp hair and re-scrunching as it dries really helps. I sometimes have to re-wet and re-scrunch 1 -2 times if I want mine to work just right. Going into a sauna and scrunching after it dries with product in really helps. Or just appreciate your beautiful straight asian hair. You are lucky. There are a lot of people with scrunchy shaggy hair that would like to have yours.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

get a perm and make sure nobody knows.

it will save you embarassment.

I want skater/shaggy hair, help?

use beyonce shampo and u can have curly and soft hair and u gonna love it

How do you flatten hair?

I have hair that instead of sticking down it sticks out. people would call that asian hair (no offense). What can I do to make it more flat?

How do you flatten hair?

I have very naturally curly and frizzy hair and sometimes it just goes wherever it wants to. I use "super skinny" by Paul Mitchell, which is a serum that works wonders on moisturizing and calming my hair before I dry it. It takes away the "poofy-ness". Something else you could try is using a round brush when you are drying your hair to turn it under. Also, when I'm using my straightening iron, I ALWAYS use "smooth %26amp; seal" by Big Sexy Hair to protect it and it helps me with the "directions" I want my hair to go.

How do you flatten hair?

Have a car run your head over LOL, sorry just kidding

How do you flatten hair?

iron it

How to get side hair to stay down?

I'm a guy, and I can't seem to get the hair at my sides to stay down. They kinda flare up. It's almost an inch long, but still sticks out. It's like there's an invisible line separating the crown and the sides, so while the top will lay down the sides flare out . It looks really weird, almost bowl-cuttty. I haven't tried gel, but even if it does work it doesn't seem like it would look right. Asian hair, any thign I can do?

And if there isn't anything to be done, how long do you think I have to grow it out for it to stay down. And what would I have to do so that the long sides dont' look weird.

How to get side hair to stay down?

Don't worry, most guys have a little cowlick somewhere and it is kind of endearing to us ladies. But if you try to shampoo and conditioner with a heavier cream base. Anything that promotes moisture or has a straightening feature for curly hair. Dove products and Herbal Essences Hello Hydration are great.

How to get side hair to stay down?

hairspray and a round brush with bristles...use a hairdryer after using hairspray, and comb flat while drying...paul mitchell hairspray is good

How to get side hair to stay down?

well imma gurl and usually if im not around people i take a few bobby pins and i put on my side hair and sleep with my hair like dat and the next morning it stays down...most of da time

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

Asian girls are so beautiful. They're lighter than dark Indian people. The guys look better too. Asian people are thinner and tend to be more athletic. Performance at the Olympics confirms this, where China blows away crappy India. Also China's economy is dominating India's. The same can be said for Japan and Korea. Asian movies and influence are more prevalent in the USA than Indian. All India has is tea, spices and yoga.

What will I do, I never want to be with any Indian girls. And I would rather have a pure East Asian kid than a half Indian kid, but I can't. I dunno about half White. Well whatever, anyone else hate being Indian? What's to be proud of? Indians are stinky, dark and hairy. And their noses are bigger than East Asians. Also curlier hair. And the East Asian students are better overall.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

I'm East Indian, and so is my brother, but you'll be surprised to think he has any Indian genes. He looks like, East Asian. Bangladeshi's are more cooler than regular Indians. You're Southern Indian aren't you? They're darker. I'm proud of being East Indian. We're strong, healthy, and full of respect. The Bangladeshi dark girls..I don't like them much, Bangladeshi dark girls are usually like, servants. The brighter people are richer. Some East Indians just like themselves, they don't care about anyone else. Chinese rock though.

Don't be like, a self-hating Indian, East Asian supremacist. :P

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

You can't change where you're from...or what color you are.

But, Indians have the most gorgeous hair.

Why are you complaining?

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

adopt a child.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

You are a sad little person who has been brainwashed into thinking lighter skin is better.

I pity you!

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

be proud and feel gud in the skin your in

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

bla bla bla

you should like who you are

never want to change ur self

that what makes u Unique

DuH!

=]

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

You are beautiful the way you are. Just be lucky your not a fat ugly white american living off of cheetos in her parents basement. :D

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

well i guess everyone don't like something about themselves but if you don't like yourself nobody will.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

Are you from India? If you like East Asian girls that fine but be proud of your roots.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

I'm sure you don't like the culture, or the way the other Indians act. I know a lot of them are very studious, or they don't speak English, etc. Just learn to be who you are, I guess.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

Try working with computer. It's a tradition in India.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

I am Indian. I think you are wrong. Most beautiful and honourable women are Indian. You are not sure of what you want !!!

I am Indian and am not what you describe. Come on wake up and smell the coffee..... its not what you look that matters....

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

Yeah well you can't change your race so get over it. If you were my child I would so disown you I don't want any self-hating kids.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

What? haven't you see that ashyayayya whatever rai chick. she is hot hot hot. i love Indian chicks. i love all kids of women. i wanna live with a Cinnamon girl, i could be happy the rest of my life, with a Cinnamon girl.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

I think Indian girls are so beautiful. They look so distinct from everyone else, they are amazingly beautiful. Its terrible that you aren't proud of your heritage, maybe you should re-evaluate the way you feel.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

WOW! Umm...i think u should accept everyone no matter what their race but maybe thats just me. One of my best friends is Indian and i wouldnt change that for the world. But on the other hand, i have a really good friend that is Asian. We all get along wonderfully. I dont understand how you can be so prejudice against one group. and why are u already picking out ur kids???

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

Who do you mean when you say Indian. American Indian or India born?

Since you said Indian I will take it as American Indian. Wow, I'd love to be Indian.

Go for those east Asians if you so wish.....they might like Indian and you just don't know unless you ask!

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

You know harold and Kumar go to white castle? Well the indian guy (im guessing he's indian) he is VERY SEXY! and the asian guy, too. But they're problem is they know it! they are also Americanized.

You know what else, Ash the Indian girl from Bollywood. (Ashwrya?) well Ash, if u dont know look her up. She is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE WORLD. it's a fact! look it up... go to wikipedia, and type in the most beautiful girl in the worl... in fact, ima do that right now

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

You forgot about Baliwood. Them womens are fine as frog hair split four ways and sanded.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

You are like so funny. Love yourself.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

Indians are equal to everyone else and anyone who disagrees with this simple truth is a racist cretin, whether or not they are Indian.

"Chinese people are usually sportier" etc...

Every point you have made is a sweeping generalization.

Be a little kinder to yourself. you are human. you have flaws. you make someones day everyday. someone lies in bed at night wishing they were you . people die from malnutrition every day. lots of people you meet will find you damn good looking. You are loved and adored by God, friends, family. You're just perfect how you are k? Don't worry about what some racist media portrays Indians as...you can know the truth and rise above the feeling that Indians are inferior because you and I both know that's just not true.

promise xo

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

We always want what we don't' have, and I hope you see the beauty IN yourself and the richness of your own culture.

Its okay to desire another, that's only human. Being an American Mutt, a real mix of nationalities and cultures, its a common belief to want what you don't have or try to create an image of what you want.

Reality will let you know soon enough that "WHO" you are is whom you make yourself to be. Not the genetics of your being.

You need to research your culture, Honestly. Your not giving it a fair shot. All ancient things are difficult for us (Americans) to understand, since we don't' have "generations" of families of the same lineage to use as a historical marker. Find the "JOY" of you and move on from there.

You are free to choose what you will become and what you care to believe about your own heritage, the reality IS, you create your own future. With whom ever you want. So consider the outcome of your offsprings? I'm sure your parents did, since you were born here. Bravo parents.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

And you're mad because......?

You can't change what God made you. You may have a big nose, dark skin, be dumber than a box of rocks and can't hit the broad side of a barn; so what? Does that make you any less of a loving person? Find something about yourself that you like, and work it!!

Maybe you don't like Indian girls; that's your preference, and that's fine. I've seen some beautiful East Indian actresses, and I wish I had their hair. I'm Black, by the way, with thick, curly hair that doesn't like me and rarely listens to me. I've known some East Indian students who were very smart and did better in school than I did.

Research your heritage, and find something that someone did that will make you proud to be an East Indian male. If you don't find anything, then YOU step up and do something to make you AND someone else proud to be an East Indian person. Stop dwelling on the negative stuff; tea, spices and yoga are not the only things East Indians excel at. I've been treated by some East Indian doctors, and they were very skilled.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

Wow... the self hate needs to stop....I believe that Indian women are beautiful......from their hair, the henna tattoos, complexion....it is always clear, skin tone....girl brown is a beautiful color....and I think dark men are the only men for me. I really don't like to see how you are feeling.....

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

. i don't remeber asian people as ever being athletic but you right there are usually thinner because of ther DIET.

india has bollywood which makes twice as many movies then hollywood(so it makes the most movies in the world) your hair may be curlier but who cares about that i mean you can just straighten it if you want and you probably have long hair. you know you may think being dark is a bad thing but the truth is it protects you from the sun better and also some of the asian women are dying to get double eyelid surgery.asians are beautiful though i agree but so is every race, they have there beautiful and ugly .

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

When I was a little girl, I wanted to be blonde haired and blue eyed, like Marilyn Monroe (it went over my head that she died so young and so horribly), when I got over that, I wanted to have bright red hair.

When I was in high school, even though I was quite fit, I thought I was too fat (I was really just shaped like a woman), then after I had my first baby, I always wished I could look like I had in high school, and that I had appreciated it in high school. Then, 17 months later, after I had my second baby, I wished that if I could look like I did in HS, at least I could look as good as I did after the first baby. Then, after the third baby, I wished that if I couldn't look as good as I did after high school, or after the first baby, that at least I could look as good as I did after the third baby.

Then I woke up. God made me, just like this, and put me here, now, for a purpose. He didn't just make my insides, he made my body, with all it's good parts and bad parts, for very good reasons, and in intimate detail.

It's like when somebody who loves you and cares about you spends years building you the ultimate gift. They use all their skills and expertise creating something amazing and intricate and beautiful just for you. Then I looked at that gift and went - Can't I just look like Barbie? An emotionless plastic doll!

I decided to accept the gift for what it was, as it was given. I decided to do my best to take care of my gift in as loving a manner as possible.

Don't diss your gift.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

I'm asian

don't think so negatively of yourself, though it's probably just stemming from colonial mentality because of the british.

You have a lot to be proud of. I like your food especially curry haha and don't say that about Indian girls the ones I see around my university are some of the cutest/prettiest girls I have seen.

Hey, I hate being Indian. I want to be East Asian. Who else?

since when do east asian people have curly hair?

and not every asian is smart stop stereotyping

like ****, be proud of what you are seriosuly

are you chinese washed?

not to be rude, but indians have alot of european ansecstors thats why were so unique. and all indians arent dark god, havent u seen them famous people your just a sicko like **** i hope you die
