I need to learn how to put my hair in a bun?

ok, im asian so my hair is stick straight (literally) whenever i try to put it in a bun/ topknot the pieces stick out and look ridiculous and i have to take the bun out. This is my techique: I put it in a ponytail about halfway down my head, then twist the ponytail in a circle and put another hairband in it to make it stay. My hairs shoulderlength with a few jaw length pieces in the front by the way. How do i get the bun in w/o the stick straight peices. I dont put the jaw length pieces in the bun since i know they're too short to stay back. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of the 'stickd' of hair that stick out?

I need to learn how to put my hair in a bun?

well i dance so i have to do buns all the time for ballet so if you want a bun like that heres how:

1. put your hair in a ponytail

2.twist your hair while in the ponytail

3.twist it around the ponytail into the bun shape

4.put enough bun pins in to hold your bun in place

5.put a hairnet around it

6.put in more bobby pins to hold it in place during the day or whenever

if you want you could put a nice hair piece around it or just leave it like that

hope i helped!!

good luck!!

I need to learn how to put my hair in a bun?

I agree with the other person who answered, messy buns look a lot better than a regular bun, here is a picture of a messy bun.

If you are really wanting to do a regular bun, you may have to let your hair grow out in order to do that because it sounds like you are doing it right but you are getting peices of hair sticking out because your hair is not long enough.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

Okay, so you know how white people's hair is right?

But, when you straighten black people's hair, it doesn't look like it. It looks really thick and dry. Is their anyway at ALL I can get my hair to look like that? I'm open for anything.

For example, white people's hair flies when in the wind, but black people's hair just kind-of lies there like a log?

I like Asian's people hair too!

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

Go to a stylist who specializes in ethnic hair. They will get you started and give you advice. And probably allot of expensive hair product.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

You'd have to get extensions or a weave to have that kind of hair....

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

you need to be happy the way God made and stop trying to look someway you are not, a nice well kept curly hair is very cute.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

Lmao @ black people's hair just kind of lies there like a log....haha, funny!

So if i understood, you want your hair to be really thick and dry? Well, just don't brush when you come out of the shower.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

Try extensions.

I'm a guy and clueless about hair?!?

I think you're the first guy i've ever heard admit that he was clueless about anything. Thank you. you have renewed my faith in the male sex.

Blonde Asian ?

im half filipino %26amp; half white. about 4 monthes ago i had my hair highlighted with different streaks of blonde. im thinking about going mainly light blonde with red streaks , but still have dark hair underneath. i look more asian , so do you think this would be a bad idea ?

Blonde Asian ?

it doesn't matter whether you're asian or not..

it's just the color combo that scares me a bit

How do you flatten hair?

I have hair that instead of sticking down it sticks out. people would call that asian hair (no offense). What can I do to make it more flat?

How do you flatten hair?

I have very naturally curly and frizzy hair and sometimes it just goes wherever it wants to. I use "super skinny" by Paul Mitchell, which is a serum that works wonders on moisturizing and calming my hair before I dry it. It takes away the "poofy-ness". Something else you could try is using a round brush when you are drying your hair to turn it under. Also, when I'm using my straightening iron, I ALWAYS use "smooth %26amp; seal" by Big Sexy Hair to protect it and it helps me with the "directions" I want my hair to go.

Have a car run your head over LOL, sorry just kidding

How do you flatten hair?

iron it

Should I wax my arm hair?

Okay, so here's the deal: I'm asian so my hair grows so dark that it looks black and against my skin it's very noticable. And I have hair on my arms. I'm a girl so It's not super thick like a guy's, but it's not exactly barely there either. I think it's repulsive. Should I wax it off? Or should i use Nair? Also, I've been reading around and people are saying that if I wax it for years and years, it'll stop growing. Is that true?

Should I wax my arm hair?

dont ...thing is it hurts why dont u jus use a hair remover that way it dont hurt and well u have to do it often but hey its easier

Should I wax my arm hair?

No! Ow! Nooooooo!

You might try bleach instead, because if you remove the hairs, they are GOING TO GROW BACK. Stubbly arms = eeeeeew.

Should I wax my arm hair?

wax them, it dosnt hurt as badly as people say it does. and after a while it gets lighter.

so do it! its worth it.

and dont use nair or shave it will come in stubbily if u wax or thread it will come in smoothley.

Should I wax my arm hair?

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

Should I wax my arm hair?

I think you should wax it off. yes it going to hurt a bit (beauty hurts, lol) but the results are going to be great. It last for about 6 weeks until the hair comes back, but it'll start to get thinner and lighter if you coutinue to wax.

Should I wax my arm hair?

waxing is best

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

i hav an oval/asian face, straight jet black hair. it's really boring, i want to spice my hair a little bit.

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

If you can get into using product and styling, get it cut into a spiky shag like Shane on the L-Word, wear with really dark eyeliner. Its dramatic and really hot.

If you want to keep it straight and long, do straight, thick bangs cut so its right above your eyes, and then leave the sides very straight and long....like Anne Hathaway after her makeover in The Devil Wears Prada. Its so chic right now!

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

leave it alone, babe

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

have a stlist lightly put carmen lighter golden brown foil hi lights around face

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

How about adding blonde chunks/highlights ? I have realy dark brown hair and I am going to try blonde chunks too :) , You can also try adding red or fuschia/purple chunks/highlights.. These colors look awesome with real dark hair, hope it works ;) .

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

wow, that is so very exotic, Asian round face ( with those almond eyes i hope) and raven's wing hair!! I am an old guy, so maybe i do not know? you want different, just suggestions, not to be held responsible? totally silver, not grey but shiny silver with interwoven tinsel, only for disco? well OK.how about a layered sort of a dye job in Popsicle colours like one of the ones that they used to call rocket. if you do not remember they were an almost day glow white, blue and pink, but that would only work with really long straight hair down to the bottom of the pockets of your jeans.( back pockets) I wish that I could give you a real good answer but I am an old guy and you are of a different gen and likely in a different culture, my grand niece could likely tell you what you want to know or maybe even my youngest niece, my son would tell you what his opinion is but he is an eighteen year old male, not to be trusted at all, sorry that I could not help, good night

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

Your hair sounds beautiful! I wouldn't change it too much. I would leave it longer...maybe to above (for lack of better explanation) your bra strap in the back with long layers. If you have never colored your hair...I wouldn't. Once you start, you can't go back! I started out a beautiful golden blond. I colored my hair light brown. I will never be blond again! It sounds like you have a good thing going already, why mess with it? I would do subtle changes. I have a more rounded face so trust me when I say if you go too short you'll look like a bowling ball with fur and if you keep it too long with blunt cut bangs above your eyes then you'll look like a bowling ball with a wig! I would do your hair as suggested above and leave bangs that fall just below the brow.

I hope I helped! Best of luck to you!

I need hair ideas 4 jet black straight hair.?

Try a side bang with short layers coming toward your face. Keep your length of your hair. also, I'd recommend some auburn or red highlights around the face, to off set the black hair. And bring out your eyes and skin color!

Is the color of your body hair the same as the one on the top of your head and eyebrows?

I'm 35 years old, Will I get more body hair growth, I'm an Asian

Is the color of your body hair the same as the one on the top of your head and eyebrows?

As a fellow asian, it appears that I am black-haired all over.

Is the color of your body hair the same as the one on the top of your head and eyebrows?

The color of the hair all over your body is the same. Usually, due to sun exposure and other factors, the hair on your head is lighter the your chest, armpits, pubic or legs hair.

At 35, it is quite unlikely for hair to grow in new places. It will probably continue growing where you already ahve it. At most, it will get denser.

Is the color of your body hair the same as the one on the top of your head and eyebrows?

It usually shares the same colour albeit with slight variation in tint or looks paler. If you're black haired the same will be for the body hair, a blonde the same, redhead same.
